I would like to bid 3.00/unit.
Now the minimum is 3.00 per unit. Bid higher than that, or dont bid at all. I thought it was simple, guess not.

Well, this is not an auction, there is no minimum bid. Feel free to bid 0 per unit. I just offered myself 3 per unit so :). You're not stupid, you're probably incredibly intelligent, playing EVE, the thinking man's game, goes a long way. Sorry if I insulted you.

I agree. The OP states an asking price, but does not indicate a minimum or reserve price. The OP also says the best price will get the Trit, and to make an offer - then you complain when people do just that.
I was going to offer 2.50, but since you offered to pay yourself 3.00, I guess there's no point.
By the way, if you start having bidding wars against yourself for something you're selling, it's probably time to seek professional help.
