You tell the calculator what minerals you want/need, and what ores and it will tell you the amount of each ore you need to fill that order. 2. added a quick decompress/compress option to the main ore's dab 3. added a way to pull the operation times and populate the share values in advanced operations. This is specifically meant for cases where each person gets an equal share purely based on time. Previously the minerals would get split based on sections (miners/haulers/defense) and then in the sections each person would get their share of the section based on time. This option provides a way to say 1 hour of work is equal regardless of what role you are performing. Elrinarie's Mineral Calculator 2.3.0 1. Modified the character tool for advanced operations to have the calculator figure out the numbers 2. Added a weight calculator to figure out trips to move ore/refined minerals. Elrinarie's Mineral Calculator 2.2.1 1. Added missed values from the compound change 2. Added the ability to reprocess compressed ore from a Rorqual 3. However, most vista issues are due to the UAE. I create all of my auto-save files at the root of the install program folder, and UAE doesn't like that. So try disabling that first and see if that resolves the problem The other thing you can do is create blank 0kb files in the root of the install folder called: charlist.chr skills.xml calcopts.opts you create these three files, (with nothing in them) and that should take care of the vista issues, or as I said disable UAE :p let me know if that doesn't resolve the problem though --------------------- Creator of another Mining Calculator

Ditto, couldn't get this to run on Vista 64 and was a bit to lazy to try to recompile it I have tested the software package on Vista 64 just now, and to my confirmation the issue is that User Account Control sucks. If you want to keep UAC on, you must run the package as administrator for it to install properly. Also, you will need to create the files (or run the program as administrator) so that the program can write to the installed location. The alternate option is to run the installer as administrator, and then install it to your user profile. --------------------- Creator of another Mining Calculator

The advanced one could be the one you have now. The basic one could be like, "what ship does the player have" and then max out the options or something like that. Basically something where I don't have to input all the yields and stuff.

I've been looking into a way to offer a more simple form for this. I am planning on doing this in the next version (sorry these updates are coming slowly but I've been busy lately with work). In the next version I think I am going to create a new method to essentially do a point system. You will be able to assign points (1 - 5) to characters and then define the % of minerals each tier of the point system gets. Sadly while I have a degree in Software Engineering I've never really used it outside of making this program (post college of course). This was mostly started because I wanted to program something to not completely throw my degree away. While I look at the code behind eve-mon and some other tools and see all the obscurity layers, it's much more difficult to see the flow of code in their stuff (although I can follow it through a debugger). Mine is much more straight forward which I guess is bad for modern day code but oh well it makes it easy for me to pick it back up and start a new update really quickly /shrug. anywho glad it's being used and people like it. One of these days I really need to add in a 4th category for the advanced calc (boosters) so that the orca can properly be calculated.
