The manual says I need 500isk to start a corp, but I tried it in game and it said I needed a little over 1.5 million. Is that a bug in the game or just inflation? Seems like kind of a big jump.

Hey!
I just started a corp and i had to pay 157 000 isk. And my corp. manag. skill is at level 1. Shouldn't the price be equal for everyone? hmm strange...

The printed manual is outdated.
It costs nearly 160k isk to create a corporation. Good luck finding a free office slot.

Hmm, have seen quite a few Stations with only three or four Offices in there. Now I don't know if there's a limit difference between Stations though...
Naturally there weren't in the 'secure' area's where you start, but also not too far away from there.

i believe that corp prices vary depending on where you base them, the more prosperous and secure the system, the higher the price

This thread is 3 years old. Congratulations for finding something completely and totally out of date.
Corp creation cost is fixed at 1.5 mil.
