Hi
Ive had this BPO for a while now but i am considering selling it, served me well but time to try other projects.
What would this be worth if it was sold with the T1 BPOs as well to make everything you need to produce the T2 Module?
Thanks, Ariana

I'll give you a bil and a Curse for it.
On a serious note, add up your profit per month x 24 and sell it around that area? -----------------

not sure if this is a MD tread worthy.
Sounds more like a Prize check.

I pondered where to put it i chose here cos it involved maths and working out profits and stuff, and that wasnt my strong point but i will give it a go :)
Building in an Equipment Array at a POS gets you one T2 Mod per 32 minutes, sadly ML Calc doesnt seem to include the 5% Implant or if it does i cant find out how. But it should take another 1.5 minutes off so its as near as damn it 30 minutes.
At a POS it would take 361days to make 16000 units and at the prices i put in 3 or 4 days ago it would cost 1.9bn in materials to make.
Now, this is where you either make or lose money. Sell them in Jita and its around 700k per unit so thats (16,000 x 700,000) - 2,000,000,000 x 5 = 46bn (ish)
However if you spend time and put some in other markets (Jita is really crap for selling so dont be doing that!) you can get upwards of 1.2m per module (Black Rise for instance) so that would be (16,000 x 1,200,000) - 2,000,000,000 x 5 = 86bn (ish)
SO moving around stuff helps, obviously im not teaching all the people here to suck eggs.
I used Eve-Search and found the last one went for the higher end of 80bn so it seems i could ask around that for it.
Im sure you could reduce costs and such via buy orders i just used the cheapest sell i could find.
So to sum up i guess anywhere between 50 and 90bn would be the best to aim for, if i was to sell it.

"around 5 y of profit is what t2 bpos goes for normaly"
This is not true. The value of T2 BPOs depends on much more than just its yearly profit. It also depends for example on the type of the BPO. T2 Ship BPOs reach much higher prices based on profit than module BPOs. Module BPOs which produce modules suitable for all 4 races receive much higher bids based on profit than race specific module BPOs.
These are just some examples that influence T2 BPO prices and should be kept in mind when creating an auction. This is btw what I would always recommend. Let the market value your BPO. Don't trust opinions of single people!
If you give anything on my humble opinion, you should make an auction for this BPO with a reserve of 30b ISK and a buyout of 50b ISK. I honestly doubt that someone is willing to pay 50b ISK for this BPO, but you never know. It might be a tempting price for someone who is really crazy about it. |

yea i wouldn't sell a cap charger 2 bpo if i were you you're garanteed to be short changed if you're goin to try new things then rent it out to people there are people who post here who'll hold it locked down and let other people use it and pay you a nice ammount for it each month/week/whatever. Then it also leaves you open to sell it at a later date if you deicde you really NEED several billion isk.

Check your inbox. By now you should have received a couple of buyout offers from BPO resellers. Take the average bid and double it and you should be fairly close. |

I couldn't agree more.

I just had to post this Evemail i got, name will not be dilvilged but it made me LOL.
2009.08.30 15:38 Hi mate,
according to ML Calc its manufacturing time is 53'20". This gives you less than 190 unit per week => 760 Month. An item costs you almost 113000, and in jita its' sold for 680000. It's a profit 567000 per item actually, so roughly 86 M profit per month. You could get little more manufactuing at a POS but it would not be worth it.
The total profit for 1 year could be around 900 M, i would like to offer 2 billions for the bpo.
Please feel free to give me feedback, we could reason on the price.
Kind regards,

However on a serious note thank you all for the input. Ive slept on it for a few days and am still undecided on if im selling it or not, market seems pretty crap at the moment so im leaning towards keeping it for a bit until it picks up.
We will see though!

If it helps I purchased one about a month and a half ago for 65b.
I like them as they are so easy to produce without worrying about fluctution in higher value components and they sell very easy so it's a fairly passive income.
I would take your off you for the same amount if your intrested.
