My corp would like to put up a POS in high sec. We're lacking the standings, though.
Is it technically possible to have the tower anchored by a member of another corp which has high standing in the desired space, and afterwards have it donated back, so we could build up a POS in that space without having appropriate standings?

What you'll have to do is have a person of the appropriate standing join your corp while the rest of you leave. After 7 days, the corp will have sufficient standings and you guys can come back and proceed to anchor your new POS. There are quite a few people that offer this service, do a search for it.

If you're not too picky about the name of your corp, there are player-merchants selling one-man corps with a POS pre-planted.
You'd obviously want to make sure you are doing business with a legit pilot, though.
In reality, just as risky as having everyone leave from existing corp while you invite the temp person for standings, as mentioned above.

You don't neccesarily have to leave, only if that new pilot's standing is "degraded" by others doing missions for the same NPC corp. So anyone offering standing for whatever (jump clones, POS) should have standing with some obscure corp no one really uses.

POS standing requirements work off of faction standing,not corp, so unless the existing players in the corp have neutral standing (as in no standings at all) or high with the faction where they want a POS, they will drag down the average.

my service is cheap but not supplying a tower, for a tower its a bit extra lol
