So I've had my eye on a corp. in one of my mission-bases of late, and I have reason to suspect that they are botting level 4 missions. (Who names their character "xhsfegvs," and their CNR "hgffsvdr?" Really!)
This needs more watching first--the last thing I'd ever want to do to anyone is "false-flag" them as botters when they aren't. Not cool, bro--getting unaffiliated alts in place, ship-scanning them, using same to probe out their missions, test-ninja their loots, you know the usual.
But, it compels the question:
If one wanted to have some...errrm..."fun" with a few of these types, then is it possible to solo suicide-gank a "typical" PvE-fit Raven Navy-Issue?
I prefer to avoid dual/multi-booting if at all possible--the old-schooler in me recoils at the lameness--but will do so if necessary although my rig really can't handle more than two clients, and even that with ill-grace. (Another reason I try to avoid that sort of thing.)
So:
Possible?
What ships/fits/implants would you use?
What alternatives, if any, for dual-clienting?
Or should I just do the "honourable (chuckles)" thing and drop a war-dec on 'em?
Ta, mates

Have you ship scanned him? Omni tank? Mission specific tank? I don't think it's possible to do it solo. You might need a few friends for this. A couple of tornados will smoke him. If he has an expensive fit you can still make a profit with a little luck. |

A neut dominix with sentry drones might be your best bet.
You'd want to break his/her tank then let the mission crap finish them off.
RNIs come with 50k hit points, with 2 invulns that pushes it to ~68k. You won't deal that in the 24-30 seconds before you're blown up. The more 'pimp' his fit is the more effective hps he'll have. If you got lucky with 2 high skilled tornados and got the 3rd shot off you might gank him with 2 but i'd plan on using more. |

I did that once... and he managed to tank it all :(
I put a note to self, "next time suicide neut and ishtar bump" but I'm too lazy to do a next time. (although the suicide neut worked very well on an armor tanked ishtar, near instapop) |

To be honest, you'd be better off stealing wreck loot in a salvager ship and getting him to aggress you so you can warp out and warp back in with a neut domi or something.
You'd be surprised how many mission runners shoot at you once you loot a wreck and aggress. |

I've yet to see/hear of a botter aggressing a ninja myself, but yeah--time to dust off the old salva-Vigil, just in case. In irae, veritas. |

I've seen a bunch of these folks in my neck of the woods as well. Primarily being a ninja salvager, they don't really bother me that much. None have aggressed so far, which may make it difficult to get the easy kill. |

Beat me to it. Damn you Spank! Damn you to Hell!!
Edit Note: they MIGHT aggress per drone settings, unless there was a change in that. |

if you want a to gank, gank. dont do it because you think, based on the name of his ship, that hes a bot.
also, if you really want the kill, and you dont want to do all the scanning. just get 5 tornados on a gate he often uses when blitzing, and smoke him with hardeners off when he jumps.
takes some patience, and im almost 100% its not worth it at all. if hes a bot he wont care and the fit will be not only Tech2, but also overtanked and omnitanked.
you should spend your energies on ganking one of those 9895s of 4billon isk machariels that none of the so called "gankers" ever try to kill. |

^^this
awoxing them would probably be your best bet. Barring that you could always wardec them and hope they dont just spend the week docked.
and of course you could pop all the triggers in their mission and let the rats do the rest (gone berserk, blockade, and attack of the drones are good for this). If its a bot it will probably die to this because it probably wont react to warp out fast enough.
If you want to suicide them, ship scan for tank type, drop some 1400mm goodness into the resist hole with a few friends in tornados |

We have suicide ganked a couple of larger targets in high sec. There really isn't a lot a group of 10 catalysts can't kill.
Solo is probably not doable without somehow gaining aggression. |

Be patient, take a cruiser loaded with neuts and destabilize their cap... sometimes it takes two. Also, trip all of the spawns. Cruiser gets concorded and they cap out... dead. |
