Verata	Posted - 2004.10.17 14:03:00 - [1] ok first of all i tried to find this topic that might have been previsouly posted and i didnt find it, so if im repeating, i apologize. ok, im trying to find a PVP setup for a megathron, can anyone help me out? im thinkin 6x 350s and 2 cruise or siege launcher for high slots, dont know about the rest.

Hatepants	Posted - 2004.10.17 16:19:00 - [3] depends for small fights the blaster setup works nicely 6 ion 2nos 1 mwd 1web 2 capchargers2 1 large armour repair(named) 3 hardners, rest cap relays but in a fleet battle that setup wont work there ull have to use the rail one 6 350s 2 launchers and almost the same like the uper one in meds and low except u take the mwd off Helping to keep Carebear population under control!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lansfear	Posted - 2004.10.17 16:24:00 - [5] Sell it and get a better ship. Raven, scorp, apoc, tempest, geddon are all better choices for pvp. About the only useful thing for a megat right now is mining and sniperthron.

They keep decreasing your speed as you mwd towards your target and once you're within 4-5km or so of the normal fighting distance they hardly even hit torps (altough if the one you're firing at isn't a missile launcher then they provide adequate cover). Get lesser guns and fit large smartbombs if you want missile defence imo
