I've never done it before and am interested in trying. I understand certain antigank measures have been taken recently and I can't seem to find accurate information. I'd like to do it, but I'd like it to succeed rather than just see Concord pop me and the target sail away.
- What kind of ship and fit would a Caldari pilot use?
- Raven fit with large smart bombs?
- Caldari BC fit with heavy missiles?
- How fast does Concord show up there?
- How can you calculate your sec hit for the gank?
- Other useful information?
For yarr's sake it would be nice to get serious answers.

t1 fit torp raven with target painters/scram/webs will be able to do it easily.
You should be able to take out several with smartbombs dependant on there tank.
Check them with a ship scanner, if they have a shield booster tank with specific tank, deal the damages there not tanking for.
With smartbombs u will probably need a couple volleys to kill them but you SHOULD have enough time to seal the deal.
other useful info is that i easily cud kill a dual small shield extended mack with a friend in gank thoraxs both t1 fit.

It does help some. I should mention that the specific Mackinaw I'm after is running with two invuln fields as his tank.

1 gank brutix or 2 gank thorax. Overload, faction ammo.
Geddon with energy pulse 3 get in 2 cycles in a 0.7
Then again, Smartbombs will probably be nerf'd in 1.5

As some have mentioned already it depends.
It depends on what the target is using, also the skills (shield skills) and if your ganking is dependent on just random fun regardless of cost or standing hit.
If you need to invest more into ganking the 1 target than the one target is worth, then you might have issues. Unless cost is no issue of course.

This is all you'll ever need for ganking any industrial ship short of an orca or freighter in 0.7.
quick edit: Also if they keep logging off i'd consider pulling a logoffski. Scout it with an alt, log on, and blammo.

I used to gank Ice miners. It was pretty fun. These days however, after the ban hammer went down on the farmers Isotope prices have pretty much doubled. With our monthly fuel bills rising for both POS operation and capital movement I have had to start restricting our destroyer borne anti ice miner operations.
We are just going to switch to veld chompers instead.

Well I tried it. Twice. Failed both times. First time was with a Raven fit with t1 torps, faction EM torps and two t1 target painters. Second time was with 8 large EM smart bombs on another Raven.
First time, I was jammed by Concord before the second or third salvo could get off. Second time, I got one smart bomb blast off and was neuted/nosed to zero cap by Concord.
Guess what? Doesnt' seem to work if Concord is already there before you start the gank. 
Bet it works a lot better when they have to warp in before kicking your ass.

I know, "derr". Never done it before and wanted to see what could be done.
Can Concord be led away from one area? Think they used to be, but not sure if they still can be and how do you do it if you can?
