I want to check that the following scenario is not classed as an exploit before going ahead.
I plan to set up a new account and train a character in a number of skills which I need. At the point where this character has the required skills, I plan to then transfer this character to my main account. If needed, I will set up another holding character on this new account while the transfer is taking place.
I aim to do this as a direct transfer without using the Character Bazzar section of the forums, and paying the transfer fee.
I can't see that this would be classed as an exploit, but wanted to check incase of future issues.

Do you mean you want to transfer without paying transfer fee ? It's not possible. You don't have to use bazaar to do character transfer so no exploiting.

No, I meant that I don't plan on posting in the forums about it. I would pay the fee on a direct transfer between the new account and my main.

lol
If you're trading with yourself, there is no need to post in forums.
The reason Player A and Player B post in forums, is to make a public record of the agreement. Then if one doesn't fulfill their end of the bargain, they have proof.
So if you don't trust yourself... |

To further explain, the GM's decided that it was an exploit to scam in character sales. Subsequently everyone uses this forum to make sure that they will win their petition if a petition becomes necessary. So no one can misrepresent the character or refuse to transfer after payment recieved etc.
