omg.. takes forever to load anything on this forums!! and even worse during heavy traffic times! 
i've seen many posts on this problem and understand that it takes money & possibly time, but this forum is & has been torture for just too long now!! you have to refresh or reload pages over & over again! my god, it took over 15 mins just to login the dang thing to complain! 
patience is Not one of my virtues, gentlemen! pls.. give this puppy some much needed luving and soonÖ !!!

I dont see why they dont get a free system like phpbb. Theres several things missing from this forum (search feature anyone?), but its not up to us so we just use what we are given.

Because PHPBB wasnt made to build into a game database and thus it would catch on fire and whipe all our profiles.

PHPBB also sucks and is ugly. Skin it all you want, it still looks like a PHPBB forum.
As for the search function, they dont have one because it would set the server on fire and also whipe all our profiles, we dont want that 
Having a search function on a db for a 10-10.000 people forum takes up waaaay less cpu then having one on a databse like eves.
Oh as for the forum speed; it has been going smooth ever since they killed the Char Portraits. Perhaps your connection or ISP is borking your speed?

Heh, I wonder how many people are surfing these forums. I do wish it was faster, I'd spend more time reading it :/

t20 knows about it, and we are working on a solution. For instance the Character Information Sheet has been removed until all is solved and it can be live again without lagging the forums.
You only need to be patient until it is all fixed. Making threads about it wont make the forums go faster.
