Only the will for good fights! The day before TCF cynoed a fleet of, say, 70 capitals through our few systems reinforced some towers. Yesterday then we formed up a fleet for no certain reason but to get a good fight. Much to our enjoyment, TCF formed up in 9-4 as well and their local quickly grew beyond 100 while we were still at 80. Then at 20:15 Evetime+2 we already had 120 in gang which was quite amazing considering our size. We flew to O-Z waited 15 minutes and our scouts that TCF was on their way towards us. I'm not quite sure what they were up to. Probably they wanted to incap the cynojammer in 1-3 and bring caps afterwards, but as we had a fleet ready we built up in 1-3. We had multiple TCF and/or MH Titans logging in and at first, TCF set up at sniping range in the system next to 1-3. This was clearly a DD-Bait and going in with shortrange-BS on a longrange fleet at 150k makes no sense, so we just waited in cynojammed 1-3. It didn't take very long actually, TCF didn't even wait for MH to arrive. They just jumped in their whole fleet into out dictors as our BS warped to the gate and fighting ensued. They tried to burn away from the gate and gain range. Thank you very much for doing so! We in evoke had a great time, really! Having a fair 120 vs 120 fight is very rare! I don't think I have EVER experienced that a hostile fleet with even numbers jumps onto us even though they are long and we are shortranged. They came for the fight, they got their fight and at least on our side we had a great evening. Our fleet actually peaked as high as 134 evoke only, even though the killboard shows 170, which is probably a new record for us. Lots of dualaccounting and all, but still thats some very good participation. We are glad to welcome out newest member corporation, old friends from D2 and G. It's good to see that our reforming-strategy after the ferrogel-scandal is going well. Even though we have a LOT less money than we had before, we currently see the strongest evoke there has ever been. Doesn't count for anything, but still... Looking forward for some more, NC and whoever wants to join!
