Looking for a good Caracal set-up please. I think I'll mainly be using it in 0.3 - 0.4 areas for rat hunting, so I'm looking for something to take down Cruisers and supporting frigates, but I also want to be able to run away from any PC pirates I happen to run into.

5 Heavy Launchers (t-bolts and scrouges) 10 Mn MWD Medium Shield Booster Small Cap Booster (I like 100's or 75 Charges) Co Processor 1 Small Armour Repairer (when your shield booster...just can't cut it..)
Cap Booster keeps your Grid UP...so you Shield Boost or MWD more...

Thanks guys, just what I was looking for.
Two questions:
RE: the shield hardeners, is there a general rule for which enemies use a particular type of weapon, or is it trial and error?
How do heavy missiles do against frigates, compared to light missiles? Do I need to alter my tactics?

now, I already know what you're thinking.. shield extender with MWD O.o but it makes up for the loss, and adds a little extra :) not that you get hit alot at 50+ km away tho.
I used to have a rocket launcher with defenders but if you keep the distance their missiles burn out before they reach you.
edit: oh, and always use scrouge missiles, you get much better hits because of the ship bonus, especially if you have caldari cruiser at V :D

You can check what type of damage NPC's do if you look at the object explorer on the eve-i website.
And heavy missiles do v.well against frigates, even the MWD'ing mordus bounty hunters.
