Edited by: Legatus1982 on 05/09/2009 07:19:54 Apparently photobucket hijacked my image and made it smaller, here is the non-gimped screenshot:
I haven't messed around with this too much, but I know I can do it with any ship and the speed probably would still be insanely high for large ships, battleship or bigger sized. This is not mid-warp, unless I'm mistaken it would say [warping] instead of the speed. -JP

Looks like a moon bump to me. People managed up to 90km/s prior to the speed nerf some time back, without resorting to bumps. --- 34.4:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

If you get on grid with the center body of the sun you go 2.1Bm/s .

After certain patches I could attain far greater than that after bumping off a shuttle. So not really all that special.

I think I made my Moa achieve near warp speeds once with 3 MWDs fitted back in the old days. My cap went to zero in less than a second too. -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity. |

Once saw a bug where the ships max speed was locked to warp speed, was rather surreal. Like being in warp except you could fly into the sun at 3au/sec
Oh, also the first time I ever used Probes (first probing system) The first hit I got was the centre of the sun in Umokka. Lagged me to hell warping there, very bright too (who would have thought...) and then it bumped me out at warp speed

1. Get probes. 2. Scan down one of many ships stuck inside Jita star. 3. ??? 4. Profit!

I think we need to call this one max MWD speed tbh, screenshotting while being bounced off a celes doesn't count imo

Edited by: z0de on 05/09/2009 17:32:28 tbh that's kind of slow for a bounce.
Also way to use a huge image for no reason. á á
