Buy a Kestrel, 4 standard launchers, 1mn mwd, 1 webber, 1 mid-slot cap recharger, 1 pdu, 1 small armour repairer.
Go NPC hunt in 0.4 + 0.3 systems with it.
You'll make a fair bit of isk and the Kestrel is a no-brainer to fly. You won't lose so much isk then.

true, however many npc's have similar trouble hitting small ships as we do. I have a friend who took out a depredator in a velator!
what josh said is true, you can avoid their missiles and losing your ship is nothing. try missions as well, they are the best income in the empire tbh

I remember when I was a young carebear (but hell, who didn't ever mine in eve to get some ships heh?)... To make profit I was mining crockite in thorax in 0.0 like 2 jumps from hed The way back in hauler was dangerous as hell, the risk was high (ninja mining ^^) but profit was correct. Then I went like 40 jumps deep into 0.0 to get arkonor when mega prices were extremly high. Once again risk were high (well in fact extreme due to the new npcs, the warzone in Catch and the fact that Immensea was claimed by some meaningless alliance called... errr... Xetic :P). Why am I telling you that ? Because some people like you just sit on their hands in empire space forever waiting for the isk to flow into their wallets while some people take a lot of risks and make money (well some loose a lot of money too tbh). Now atm it's a fact, if you jump into 0.0 space you'll prolly get killed. First because you won't know how to defend yourself, second because you prolly don't know anybody who won't shoot at u :p So what could you do ? Train to survive in 0.0... Know how to fit a ship, find a system you could make some profit of, get to know some people who might help, or even join an alliance and learn. I think the most funny thing is when people wait to have a BS to jump in 0.0 for the first time whereas they should start in frig/cruiser to learn and come back in BS when they know how to stay alive :p
There is another option: luck through research agents. Maybe someday some uber T2 bpo would fall into your hands... Well it only happens to the others You can also simply run agent missions for making some isk.

Mining in a BS in 0.0 produces about 15mil/hr not counting the hault time to send your minerals back to empire and sell them there. Haul time is the greatest conern esepcialy since you tend to get blown up on the way. So get a fast frigate, some insta jumps and some warp core stabs. Bring a full frigate load back to empire and you are filthy rich.
Might take you a while to get a full frigate load, especialy ninja mining, but the pay offs are great.

Edited by: John Sheridan on 25/10/2004 21:48:49 Daniel as you were told by EVERYONE in the many Corps you have been in. YOU have to WORK at something to have money. YOU don't do anything so are POOR! IN Scenites you wouldn't Mine, Hunt, Haul, Build or Refine on a regular or even rare occasion. And with 12.3 MILLION Skill points you keep ranting about, you should be capable of doing something rather than Begging

ISK is short of Islandske Kroner (Icelandic kroners), which is the national currency of Iceland where CCP have their headquarters.
