Ok, hi.
My name is Caesar, most of people knew me as Caesar Liaine until I was banned.
I'm playing EVE just about 4-5 months, so I don't really have much experience like another players, which are playing about 2-5 years.)
When I have started playing EVE, of course I got hmm 14-day trial account, and guys, who taught me to play EVE, told me : "you should buy PLEX or GTC to play more time" . So, I was salvaging, killing, pirating sometimes(yep ), stealing, asking people for money, and then I got 300mils, yeah YAY! I was very happy of buying my first PLEX and I was like YAAYYY!!! \o/ :D So, I was playing-playing-playing again, and then, on the 15th day(maybe) of PLEX , I was in Jita, or Rens maybe, or... I don't remember the system exactly, but one guy was advertising uhh like "secure method of buying PLEXes, safely quickly cheap etcetc buy moar ISKs , we're official dealers of CCP market yep" Then this guy sent me an URL like "eve-market-online.com" oh you know them(they like to make URL believable), and I ve believed him because I was really dumb noob yeah! But that's OK for a girl , who plays EVE for more than ~30 days, yes? I've asked some guys in local and another channels, and all of them said "That's OK hon don't worry buy it, we do it too, so we're still playing" ... So, I've bought PLEXes there twice, and twice I've
bought them in EVEmarket from another players LATER( for 320-340 mils each).
All was OK and I was playing EVE again and I was going to join a new corp and etcetc life was beautiful but then, on 23.08.09 ~16.00 GMT+0 I was like "OMGOMFGWTFBBQ" like O_O cause while I was logging in, a window appeared. There was a TEXT which said "Account is permanently banned, reason: EULA violation" . Then I wrote a petition to GM, and GM answered to me (thanks, Nova!) and said me this
On three occasions have you received PLEXs from hackers, ISK sellers and credit card fraudsters. Unfortunately we have no option but to permanently ban all accounts involved.
I was asking some questions, and Nova told me, what I've done wrong. He understood that I'm real NAB and I didn't know that I've done it wrong. So, I'm banned now, and I don't really know what to do now.
EULA tells us about it
So, guys, it would be much better if you will buy PLEXes and GTCs here or, list of official dealers, here.
And Im nab.
Now, I hope, you will understand me, cause Im noobnoobnoob(!!!!!).
And I hope GMs will understand me too, and reduce me my punishment.... pwease ^___^

So what you bought the 'PLEX' off this site (which you should remove if it's the actual one) using money? and what, they buy a PLEX with that money and then sell it transfering the money to you?
Well that's wrong. You cannot trade real life money for any ingame item or isk unless CCP sanction it like with PLEX which they sell on THEIR site.

All banks let most people over 3 to get a Debit card, Visa Electron is a Debit Card. I've had mine since i was 7.

Still I'd suggest getting some WMZ (that isn't that hard in Moscow) and buying GTC from official dealers.

I would presume that banks would require a minor's debit card/bank account to piggy back off of an adults account. So in the end the OP would need his parent's permission to get a debit card first.

Okeh, from your WALLOFTEXT your situation seems to boil down tot he following:
1) You wanted to buy PLEX< and had amassed the ISK to do so in-game.
2) You saw someone spamming local somewhere for PLEX sales, for real world money.
MISTAKE 1:
You followed the link being spammed and used RL money to buy the PLEX. EULA violation #1 : NO in-game items are to be sold for RL money, or purchased with RL money. Now, if you purchased a GTC with RL money, then converted to PLEX and used them, that'd be a completely different story. That's legit. PLEX can only be bought with ISK in-game.
MISTAKE #2:
You did it more than once.
LEADING TO:
Ban.
You're pretty much SOL on that account that got banned, and for good reason. You broke the EULA multiple times. Live and Learn, as they always say - and it hepls to actually read the EULA at least once, just so you know the ground rules. Not buying items with RL money, BTW< is pretty much a staple in ANY game that doesn't have a microtransaction system in-game.
Too bad you got banned, not a lot you can do about it given the circumstances - and posting here about it isn't helping matters any. Since you posted about a moderation action (the ban itself), you've opened this thread up to be potentially locked by any of the GMs.

I almost made the same mistake when I wanted to buy PLEX for the first time a few months ago. Its not that hard to confuse PLEX with a gametime card or a normal monthly fee as its game time youre getting, really? getting game time with real money? illegal? since when? Oh since plex's were items. CCP's fault. You should get youre acount back if you threaten legal action. You cant be selling game time for money and then say you cant buy game time for money.

Ah, missed the part where it said it only "later" bought some for ISK on the market. So the first ones were for cash ? What the bloody hell was the point of buying PLEX with RL cash ?!? Ah, I guess it was "cheaper than usual", heh.

I can understand the situation somewhat. CCP does not take in other curriencies and I live in Poland atm. So for me it's like shelling out $140 for a 60 day GTC (wtf CCP?) On online sites i found it to be 1/3 the price. No I never bought it illegally but I have been tempted. EVE's good, but not worth the price here IMHO

I pay by GTC from igroshop.com (official dealer)
Order GTC (only code not actual card, you will receive it by email) from their site and choose to pay by Robox/Elecsnet or Kiwi.
You will receive code or check.
Then find one of their terminals (there are lot of 'em near Metro stations) enter code/check number and pay by cash.
You can pay by Visa too or WebMoney, YandexMoney whatever...
Also try to speak with senior GM and explain your case and "maybe" he will help you.
I don't buy PLEX for ISK because I dont earn enough ISK for it. I have a life and i don't play much.

I don't understand these people that insist on running to some wierd out of game source when they are available, right there, in game. The GMs don't understand either, its suspicious, hence the ban.
On the bright side, you can play jumpgate evolution in 2010. Or Dust 514.

I understood, which is why I pay for EVE via ingame cards because it's too expensive for me to pay for it otherwise. Like I said, I know how it would feel to have the temptation to buy something cheaper than CCP would offer.
I do realize the OP also bought ISK but buying PLEX has been a temptation for a while. I mean, how can you justify charging some 1% of you average monthly wages while charging others almost 15%?
The charge for EVE should take into consideration the currency of the given country, not everyone uses dollars and euros. (or pounds for that matter)

it may be that your the one in a million who actually made this as a legitimate mistake.
unfortunately if ccp where to help you we would then hear from about 1000 fakes also having stories similar to yours about how they didn't know they where breaking the law.

Sometimes you can be on a channel in eve be it help etc and you have this constant spam regarding isk selling by these people. CCP could be a little bit more proactive and ban the accounts faster.
These people will try and take any strategy they can to screw the eve player base in order to make money. People should always be warned and told what exactly they are doing wrong before perma banning.

Speaking generally I think it is a little unfair to level lifetime bans without warning. Since they where aware of 3 breaches without informing a potentially ignorant party of an infraction.
CCP don't owe people a chance but it would be nice if you where informed when you got your first "strike" and how you got it and why and how to avoid getting another one.

I forgive you, but I would not lift your ban. The chars on your account have gotten an unfair advantage over legit players. If I was the mod onvolved, I would delete the chars on that account and than give it back to you, as compromise, and to gloat
We all make mistakes. I don't think it's personal. Move on and listen to Oprah; "The only free cheese is in the trap."
I understand that this is not about "free cheese", but you circumvented the rules. Isk is intellectual property of CCP (I believe), and buying or selling it to/from other companies/people is against the rules, and I also believe it is against laws in some countries.
I see you made a new account. I hope you still love this game, as I do. Good luck in your future gaming afairs.

CCP don't owe people a chance but it would be nice if you where informed when you got your first "strike" and how you got it and why and how to avoid getting another one.
I agree, CCP isn't too fond of helping their customer base out when it comes to infractions. They say it is in the EULA, but who the hell reads the whole EULA? If people read EULAs for everything they bought/purchased/downloaded, we would spend our whole lives reading them.
I think they should do exactly as you said. CCP seems to know that PLEX's were purchased illegally, so why not just warn this character they caused an infraction. Why would you ban someone outright and possibly lose customers. If you reprimand and give them a chance, they now know that you are watching and at the same time, possibly retain a law-abiding customer who stops buying PLEX's. If they do it again, you ban them.

If people advertise something they make profit off it, not you. It might still be a good offer, but not because its been advertised.
You should have read and understood the EULA before starting to play. Its there and to be accepted for a reason. If you have problems to understand the EULA you could ask for clarification using the petition system.
You are not permitted to post answers to petitions like you did in OP. Forum Rule #9: Quote:

Thanks for the heads up for other people who might be going to make the same mistakes. However your general writing style could use some work.
If you're actually quite young as you say you might just not be grown up enough for playing EVE and understanding all of its mechanics and complexity. Maybe you should give it another try after passing the 20 year mark. Note that this is not meant to be personal or offending.
Why don't you start over with a new character? Gaining skill points and assets is not the only progress in EVE, you still keep your knowledge and personal skills.

The mere passing of time doesn't guarantee you skill and knowledge in the real world. But playing eve all this time I can see how you came to that misconception.

Actual young ladies in this game, and on the net in general, tend to spend most of their time trying to sound older and more mature. They also tend to go out of their way to NOT intentionally type like a perv's fantasy of what a teen girl should sound like.
