KIA isn't differing from most of the smallerish alliances, except that they have a history. They wanted to grow, they grew too fast -> invasion of carebears, no more focus on individuals but swimming in the mass and losing keyplayers... not exactly the first time I see this happenening in a MMO. After some time new ppl (hint hint) will step up and fix it.

p sure the blue status of nearby regions isn't dependent on that since we've napped all the fgts living there as you said

Now titans get nerfed and Eddz cunning plan to ride on a wave of titans into the sunset while listening to David Hasselhoff is going to waste.
Can someone please explain why KIA is still there?
After the next EVE Upgrade, KIA space will be one of the best defended in the game... just saying

and why is that? i think you still need to undock to be able to defend...

Nah, why would we? We are just going to hire some mercs to take that from us...
After all, we have been excellent mercs and should still have something to say in the merc business, aye?
BTW, since you are all reading the KIA forums anyway, you should already be well aware that we have changed the EVE client executable to remove the undock button from the UI. Look up the respective thread in the "Knowledge Database" Forum. You know, the one below the General Discussion.
