Hey guys!
I have a little questiong about missions. My friend and me would like to run some missions together but can't figure out how to find missions which we can both do. Yesterday I was checking the map for available agents. I found one and warped my fleet over there. However when we both talked to the agent, we both got different objectives...? Please help us out because we are confused! We know there is an option to share the rewards of a mission when handing it in but that doesn't count for standings and it makes more sense to each do the mission (but together) and each get full the full reward (or not?)
Thanks!

What you want to do is impossible. You cannot both have the same mission and do it together once to get the full rewards each since every time a mission is given it's in a different location.
If you want to both gain standings / rewards then you'll have to alternate between who accepts the missions.

Only one of you can talk to a agent for the same mission. If both of you talk to him/her, you will get two separate mission offers, even if you (by sheer luck) get offered the same missions. Do as you already do.
- accept mission (one of you) - warp fleet - hand in mission and share the LP/rewards
AFAIK there is no way to share standing. Even if you hand in a storyline mission as "shared between fleet", there is no standing shared. You can only share LP/rewards.
Also, you will suffer the standing hit for the ships/structures you participate in bringing down only if you actually cause damage to them. For example if you are only repping your fleetbuddy but you do not shoot at the NPCs in missionspace, you will not share the faction standing hit with him/her.
Capsuleers, correct me if I am wrong.

Turning a mission as shared between fleet will raise everyone's corp and agent standing. It's faction increases from storylines you can't share.

You CAN share Corp standings by turning in the mission while a friend is fleeted. They can be anywhere in Eve, they don't need to be near the mission or even have participated in it, I do it all the time for friends. You CANT share faction standings from Storyline. A person needs to run their own Storylines for a faction increase. |

Yes, what you are saying is true. To sum it up: When one hands in a mission for the whole fleet (up to ten fleet members), the following are shared:
- reward - time bonus (if applicable) - loyalty points - increase in that agent's standing and subsequently - increase in that agent's corporation's standing
I should have been more particular.
However I am not sure how the agent/corporaton standing is handled. Does every fleet member get the same percentage of standing increase as a player would get for handing in the mission for him/herself or is that percentage divided as well?

It's also handy to be in the same player corp and/or ensure that you have the notification for a criminal act turned on.
If you're running missions together, it's common to remote repair, meaning you have the other player targetted. It's possible to acidentally shoot your mate. You don't want CONCORD ruining your day for that sort of mistake. ______________________ Isn't it time you learned to fight back? Agony Unleashed Home of the PvP University.
