Hullo thar o/
I hate myself, and want to biomass my character. 
My avatar looks like a man, my name has no kind of sexual inuendo or is of any comical value, i have -9 sec status, and i miss flying through hisec on auto-pilot and shooting at war targets  Not to mention everything is 10000x the price in null sec.
BUT this char already has 4m sp, mostly T2 fittings, and almost has BS V (no idea why, i just like black-ops and carriers)
so, the question is, biomass or not to biomass? A new char would take a good 3 months or so to get to where this one is now, despite its ******ed skillset.
HELP ME GD, YOU ARE MY ONLY HOPE

also, that damned 5 minute timer is REALLY annoying me now, i preferred the spam.

I blame my corp for saying they need more carrier pilots.. Also i had a dream once that I was jumping across space as a space hobo in a carrier with a hulk, HAC and a bunch of other crap in, and it was an awesome dream.

Suicide is not a solution 
Character appearance can be fixed either now (with money) or later (for free) when ambulation is released. Sec status is also fixable, although it takes time. Alas, name you have to keep.
That said, if you want to start anew - do it. But even then keep the old character as an alt.

For some reason I keep thinking that you wont be able to biomass yourself because of your low security status? I have no idea why I am thinking this but for some reason a part of my mind wants to say that CCP deemd it 'bad' to biomass characters with low security status (to prevent suicide alt recycling maybe?) so they made it impossible to actually perform a biomass on a negative sec character.
But then again, I may be smoking some really good funny stuff.

Well if you are going to suicide, now is a better time than later. By 10mil sp you may have a decent skill set and a fat wallet, then it will be an even bigger waste of time to biomass.

Paying for appearance change isnt worth it with the whole 'cant change race/bloodline because its too hard on us wee devs' thing. And im too lazy to get my sec up, plus ratting makes me want to biomass my brain. Also, i have no idea on the neg sec = no biomass thing, i thought it was just angry afk miners demanding it.
Edit to above: good point, although at 10m sp i could probably get more than 500-700m for it, so it would be worth selling.

On your new character take your time and enjoy the small ships, doing missions or whatever. And don't podkill people or you'll find yourself back in lowsec pretty fast.

You have several options.
1) Sell your character and with the profits pimp out an all new character.
2) Get a character portrait swap so you don't look so ugly.
3) Get an alt to do the high sec flying for you. Maybe even exploit the low sec markets yourself.

THIS! Never biomass a trained character, just train a new one and transfer assets to that character. Plus a random character in somepart of space is always useful.

If I were you I would get a second account and start a new character, turn that one into a cap alt.
Hope you get everything sorted.
Just make sure you are happy with your character.

i wouldnt touch a 4m SP char with ****ty sec status, bad skills and a terrible case of manfase with a barge pole. sorry.
the only reason i would buy your char is to sell everything you own and then its *thump**thump**scream* time!
more to the point, cheate a new char, transfer all your current assets to it, then biomass time.

This. Also multiple accounts paid with PLEX is fun. Also 4m SP with BS 5 is LOL. Also pron names and sexy chars are awesome fun XD the killmails are embarrassingly hilarious.

on the topic of biomassing - sec characters, you should contact a GM.
it is considered an exploit to create a character, go on a suicide ganking spree, and biomass it and start again to avoid the consequences.
i dont think the game will stop you from sending your char to the great sandbox in the sky, but you might get your account banned if you do.

That only applies if you do it more or less daily. I already asked them as I wasn't sure when I biomassed a neg sec alt once used for suiciding offline POS labs before the HP buff.

you can make a new avatar pic and pay ccp a small fee for transferring that.
i beleive you make a new character with the avatar you like, and do that transfer thingy from "new char" to "old char"
still doesnt solve the name issue though :P

I'm the administrative assistant for Rancer Defence League. I know the CEO has been running a "Pirate Rehabilitation Service". Currently there's only one student, but they're apparently "really close lol" to "graduating".

Do as I did a million times. Sell your assets, tranfer it to an other char and take the injection. Use the stuff you've learned to make a new char, and make it the perfect char this time. Anything that isn't satisfying to your gaming needs is a waste of your time. In 10 hours you'll have a new char and your old char would be gone and forgotten. Transfer the money back, and get your skills up again. By Christmas you'll have an other 1337 char and everybody (not me) will fall to your feet, because you are so awesome, and not just an other failed experiment

I would keep the character. You can change your portrait for 20 euro, your name is ok as it is and you can grind your sec status up fairly fast while earning ISK.
Just look for a quite 0.0 area, buy a ratting ship, fit a cloak and then head out to a system with a few belts (I'd recommend an Ishtar if you can fly it). When there you warp to belt, kill a single rat (the more bounty the better), warp to a safe spot, cloak up, wait 15 mins and repeat. Should take about 20-30 hours to get your sec status back up to better levels. Just use a drone based ratting ship so you don't need any ammo. This worked for me very well - only the entrances to 0.0 are well guarded... the rest of the space is usually empty (ofc you should go to a system that isn't full of ratters already... check the south of the region geminate for example - those systems generally suck for ratters due to high secstatus but still have enough belts to always have a BS to kill).
All the other aspects of your character (skills and whatnot) are irrelevant because you can simply continue training for whatever you want while you grind up your sec status.

Thanks for the input, a lot of people mentioned 0.0 ratting.. and i'm in blue 0.0 space at the moment but my brain literally turned to mush after about 30 mins of ratting.
And i would create another account, seeing as i pay for my current sub with PLEX anyway, but i doubt i would play on this char at all once i got settled into a char on another account.
Also yes i do need to biomass, because my other slots are all full, one with a hauling char and the other with a manufacturing/trading char. They were basically made and trained because of my sec status in the first place.. but they're good at what they do and are pretty useful for making iskies etc.
So looks like I'll be biomassing after all, to those who wanted my stuffs, i already reproccessed it all and sent it to my hauling char
