Amarrian Retribution Amarr 7th Fleet

Good evening,
So, firstly I must say that what I want to put forward here is by not means a communication on behalf of or approved by Amarr 7th Fleet or its leadership. I am speaking as a member of the Amarr Militia and would like to hope we can move forward with my comments.
A quick into on me before you all flame noob in my general direction, I have been in Amarr FW for about 17 days now but have played Eve since 2005, doing anything from low sec piracy, hauling to 0.0. My comments are based on my experience in the Militia and that only.
It has become apparent over the last few days that there is a lot of hostility building between leading corporations and alliances in the Militia. I see no real reason for this to escalate or turn into anything else. From my experience thus far I have PVP'ed pretty much daily and ran plexes equally, both vital parts of the Factional Warfare idea.
I have been in fleets with FC's from many corporations and must admit I have to commend all of them, there has not been one FC yet that I have believed to have failed or under delivered their task. I have also FC'd 1x 40 man fleet myself a week ago and this also went well. Between the various corporations in the militia we have some fantastic members and some fantastic fleet commanders.
It is time we pull together our resources, drop the hostility and drop the years of built up tention for the long standing corps and alliances in the Militia. If I have to say one thing about the minmatar, they have their act together, they are usually uniformed fleets with good numbers and good organisation.
At present, and this is no Miltiia secret, the Amarr fleets are a bit wet and lacking in numbers. We all know there are plenty of people online in the Miltiia that could join a fleet and become part of one unit rather than split into little tight nit groups.
Use our resources, use the good FC's, help the new members to the militia. The time to pull together is now!
I appreciate this thread is more than likely going to get flamed by both sides and various others but feel our Militia leaders need to pull together, hold a meeting on voice comms and start organising some well built fleets all working towards one common goal which is to reclaim systems and to destroy Minmatar Militia where needed.
Reclaiming of systems and PVP are both vital parts of this game and people doing both or either should not be shot down for their efforts. The ones causing the real issues are those that join the militia and sit in a comfortable high sec seat.
So, is now the time for Amarr Militia to change, can we pull together some interest in what I am saying, Militia Leaders are you willing to listen and work together, dropping past events?
Lets hope so A, and get this militia to someplace it needs to be!
ONE MILITIA ONE TEAM ONE GOAL!
Amarr Victor!!!

Couldn't agree more. More cooperation will bring more kills, and more systems taken/defended. Spies may exist, but playing to their game will restrict our abilities more than if we use caution but continue on as usual. |

There's almost always drama in militia chats. Plex capturers and pvp-ers troll each other? Be above that. Close militia chat and do your job, soldier! |

we need more active fleets for quick response. Fweddit runs around kamela area but I haven't seen any amarr militia fleet except one or two pilots who tag along with us. Follow our lead and ignore the stupid KB stats and have fun. |

There are fleets being run aside from FWeddit, and there needs to be more interaction and cooperation between the active fleets. Doesn't help that paranoia and epeen-measuring seems to be the bedrock of the Amarrian Militia...oh wait, thats just EVE. |

I for one would tag along, but I hardly see any fleet(s) in fleet finder most of time ... |

You are missing his point. Its not about the drama, it's about putting all the drama to the side and working together effectively. And by telling him to close militia chat you are telling him to close the only means the vast majority of militia members have of communicating. That is the the point.
FWeddit and 7th are not working to organize anything. There is a vast amount of man power not being exploited. 7th and FWeddit Fleets are both guilty of not informing other fleets of what they are up too. If you see a fight and you see in militia hat there is anther friendly fleet nearby; convo them and ask for assistance, even if you don't need it. The more the odds are in our favor the less ships we loose and the longer we can keep our fleets rolling.
Nothing is going to get done if we don't communicate our goals with eachother. There's an old saying about if you chase two rabbits you'll never catch a thing.
The point is if we just have a little comunication and then things will go much further than they are now.

This seems to be the case where Fweddit already believes in its own hype. And it has shown in its own arrogant forum warrioring and telling the rest of Amarr militia on how to do things. This is a failure in leadership and diplomacy from Fweddit High Command. No corp, regardless of how big you are, can carry the load an entire militia. |

More like Fweddit seems to be having fun pew pewing and are more than willing to loose ships fighting their own militia if you put them down.
And it doesn't seem like they have exactly jumped into the middle of the best militia. Amarr until recently was getting kicked around. Be happy for more people on your side, form some joint fleets up and go make space look pretty with explosion. |

This. Mostly (in Minnie militia chat) it's some boob named raven666knight (or something like that) talking about his balls, or raping chicks, or leading the enemy into the system, talking big, then running like a little girl.

I had a long post of quoted responses but it all turned into drivel
ATM Fweddit is having a bigger impact operation with out most militia members. We talk with allot of them but one alliance in particular is handling it wrong .
System flipping is happening i dont see a major issue with it as long as the war is moving along.
The 7th act like dicks in Plexs and contested systems to militia members we don't see a need to put up with it.

I'd like to say, that the drama between FWeddit and 7th fleet has been smoothed over, we've been more than cooperative with the militia as a whole, and actively welcome people to join us while we do 'things', be it plexing or running fleets or just sitting in comms calling each other nerds (which happens).
The only real dividing line now is that we hate teamspeak, and are currently hosting a 2000 man Mumble server anyone in the militia is welcome to use (with Auth integration soon (tm)). I will admit we are bad about broadcasting fleet adverts and stuff in militia chat and even worse about doing anything other than waving at fellow friendlies in local.
If you want to join our mumble and find out what we are doing, please do, we'd love to have more people. I have already addressed the fleet advert thing and told my people that you are all welcome, so, get in there man- do you want to live forever?
Also- if your corp does NOT have our mumble info, toss me an evemail and I'll get you sorted out. |

This is a nice post and frankly it is a refreshing thought. On the topic of unification and setting aside differences, one must first understand that organizational leadership have to enact policy and enforce conformity to set policies.
If an alliance/corp sets forth a directive, the membership should conform to it to the best of their ability. This is pixel spaceships and some of those playing are children, so it is understood that some will disregard direction. This is the way of a rebellious nature. Shylari and Durr have been working diplomatically with Amarr 7th Fleet leadership and honestly it seems that diplomacy is working at the leadership level.
The problem is the fact that their are still members of both sides and third parties that refuse to conform to directives. Amarr 7th Fleet mailed their membership and clearly stated to leave Fweddit alone and allow diplomacy, yet members refuse to abide by that policy. It doesn't matter if one believes that the otehr started it or they won't stop trolling, the fact remains that a policy set forth by your leadership dictates you shut up in chat and stop communicating unprofessionally in militia chat and via evemails.
If you have issues, use your leadership. Ofcourse High Command won't be able to bandage every little scuffle, but they will try where able. Fweddit has every intention of redirecting toward the Minmatar/Amarr Faction War, everyone has been invited to Mumble via Shylari Avada, and frankly the elitist attitude needs to stop. It doesn' t matter how long or short you have been playing EVE or a member of the militia, Amarr have been losing for some time, and that is nothing to be proud or demand any form of respect.
Form fleets, ask for help when needed, respect every member (especially our new members and players), fight the opposition, and communicate respectfully. If you have questions, Shy has already said to mail him. Mail any of us if you need help, and I am sure you will find if you approach us in a friendly manner, we will always be there for you.

Tbh the problem you're having is that everyone expects the other corps to do things in a certain way. Which, realistically speaking is never gonna happen. You're not gonna see fweddit in dreads more then you are gonna see w-br in rifters.
So most effective is to coordinate so everyone gets to do what they can do. If you have a plexing push, let general militia do cruisers, let fweddit run around in thrashers for minors, and put w-br in t3s and guardians in majors. If there's a big fight, put w-br in caps, put gen militia in neuting bs, and ask fweddit to bring a lot of thrashers and shoot whatever they find appropriate just so enemy guardians/triage will get spammed with tons of armor broacasts.
That beeing said, we fail terribly at coordinating in Gal Mil, so am prolly just talking out of my ass |

Wow, seems I did good lol!
These are all great responses guys and pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
Hopefully we will start to see more fleet adverts in Militia chat and mutliple fleets joining up to be one.
If you have experience at fleet command in 0.0 or low sec then put your skills to use guys. The more fleet commanders we have within the militia the better organised we become.
At the end of the day, we all have our own corps and our own leaderships. But on the battlefield only one thing matters, and thats the commands of the FC and all men being equal!

See, now we're all happy and having a picnic and whatnot, it's great. I'm just terrified that the first fleet we run as a joint militia fleet will be the same fleet that Grath fc's for the first time. And then we're going to have some real diplomatic issues. |

This shouldn't be a dividing line at all. Almost all professional pilots have already installed most of the used com programms (ts, vent, mumble), and downloading and installing any of it requires ~5 min. Compared to fleet assembling and preparation time, this is nothing.
Type of comms used is chosen by fleet commander, who is your chief-in-charge, master, dad and God in one person. Those, who can't be on requested comms, are same to those, who bring unwanted ships: in best case - dead or useless, in worst case - threat to the whole fleet.
When you make a fleet, you command everyone to be in your mumble. When you join 7ths fleet, you join their comms. Those, who can't follow this simple procedure, should be kicked from fleet.
As I said, this shouldn't be a dividing line. |

Thanks for all the diplo's, FC's and CEO's for working behind the scenes and making things happen.
Currently the minmatar are taking blow aafter blow. We look forward to the next system takeover that is pretty much happening now on an average on one system every two to three days.
Keep up the good work.

It's more of a dividing line in that, we have so many members in our mumble at any given time, we quickly fill a wing or two, and go do 'things', typically with an alliance wide fleet advert- we keep trying to open things to the militia but 24th guys are really good at making us unwary of that.
But- we love having other people from other Amarr corps join us to do things; and have no qualms with you guys hopping in our mumble, taking a fleet channel, and telling our nerds to do things either. Or joining a fleet channel and seeing what we are up to. |
