so this what changes I would make and balances I would add to the game which i think would make the game better and fecking awesome
Titans After seeing the article and fire sales of disgruntled Titan owners about the recent ideas how to re balance the titan by not making it an area of effect ship is a really good idea. But as past and future posts that are going to be pinned and flamed at with the topic; TITANS ARE USELESS are somewhat correct, Titans will still have their uses with moving fleets etc, but what I would add to the titan, is the ability to take on capital ships. For example, a super capital ship is an upgrade or as you says an improvement from a dreadnaught. In other words it should be designed with the ability to gun the living hell out of other ships lower to its class, and also be able to tank it. what I propose is that the titan should have hidden or stated buffs to capital weapons, in other words 100 dreads will just be enough to beat its shield recharge rate, but carriers and other conventional ships would be able to deal greater damage due to small guns and in theory (watch star wars episode IV) to hit vital systems to deal more damage, IÆm not saying give it areas where smaller ships attack, but just give small ships advantage of doing normal damage while dreads cannot. Now one thing I find disturbing about our massive super capital ships is the lack of fitting you can put on them. Where does it say you cannot have the ability to fit small weapon systems on bigger ships? IÆm saying have a module that fits say 20-large rails 40 medium and 60 small (excessive I know) which will auto fire and try and destroy smaller incoming ships, and have the ability to fight roaming gangs by itself without DDing and running away like a little girl, put some battlestar in the mix and epic battles with the titan lighting up at everything around it without individually targeting every cepter by yourself. They need a lot of love. 50 Dreads on 1 = Death, which is understandable because the amount ammo mass coming towards you is more than the mass of the dread, but letÆs make it interesting, reduce capital fire damage give it a few minutes to die instead of the 0.526854128445 seconds. Also add a other role, with the rumours I hear about the dread only being a vessel that kills tower and not being able to kill other capital ships is good, with the current ideas for Sov, itÆs going to make it inert and not cost effective to bring them into battle when a fleet of 20-30 battleships can get the job done. Give it a 2nd role that requires a different fit, I mean not changing one module but the whole fit, like sieging planet (Dust514) or have the ability for anti battleship role where it has massive amounts automatic counter measures like the titan I suggested but on a smaller level, and with the ability to change the range of the counter measures to ranged arrack rails beams or to jump the thing in the middle of bs fleet and let hell break loose
Carriers. They should not have a buff to protect itself against dreads and vice versa with the upcoming Fighter Bombers, but some so the fights last longer.
Sov Mechanics.
I donÆt have many ideas for this but I do like the idea of scrapping the sov level to a point. I would still like to have a capital sov system (after years of putting up towers and jump bridges) I do like a haven for industry for my alliance and its members.
I would like towers to still have a important role but to have a super tower one per a system they are cheap to a point and take hours to reinforce with a fleet 20-30 dreads and support, I miss the old tactics of warping in and out from a tower when being shot at, but to do it on a capital level would be more fun, but I donÆt think this tower should be the king of sov, I think it should protect something next to it like a sov mechanic thing the DEVs are going on about. But we will see what they do.
This is the end of the wall of text, now IÆm just throwing ideas, to make the game more interesting and more on the epic scale which I do think is possible with the game mechanics.

I do hope CCP will take your ideas into consideration, because I agree with everything you said about how supercaps are being melted within seconds. Thats basically 90 billion and months of building gone in seconds without putting up a fight at all. At least you can say you put up a good fight by yourself for a while. I like your ideas and agree with you 100% Tonkin

I agree...
Capitals and super caps need to be more dangerous So many say they shouldnt be solo mobiles but if you fly in 0.0 dreads are used by alliances and when you see them on the field its for a cap battle and eveyone brings thir toys out to play
caps/supercaps should be fortresses, monsters of EvE that are hard to kill and wield masive firepower

I totally agree with this post. Titans are the ships of lines of corps,there fore they need to have more oomph,
