Place your bets....
What do you guys think , in a fight between two pilots with equal skills, would be the mostlikely outcome? Would the BS or the CS come out on top most often?

CS Would bring friends and the BS Would bring friends and then they'd both get ganked and then there would be much smack in local arguing about who blobbed who.

from what i have seen most commandships will whip a bs. the dps is greater with the close range bs but the resists and depending on the reps on the command give it the edge since its dps is not far behind. a long range set up bs dies easily to a command. a nosf/neut bs will win if it can get close.

I think the answer is somewhere along the lines of "it depends how the battleship is fit, and how the command ship is fit." Does that help?

Not entirley true, While the BS may have more dps vs BS sized or greater targets vs smaller targets(even CS's/BC's) tracking can really come into play.
To answer the op it all comes down to fitting and who is fit to counter the other better.

I'm sorry this is just not true. You think a BS has more DPS than say a absolution/astarte or the tank better than a damnation!
those of the words of someone who hasn't come across a accomplished CS pilot.

Great feedback folks. i appreciate it.,
I really want to "move up" from my BS to a BC but I wasn't sure if a BC was a true move up.
Sounds like its at least a lateral move to a move up. Sounds good to me.
