Hi there, i got a new ship in low-sec (0.4) where this station have only 1 jump to 0.5 but i can't use the jump. i know is because carrier can't flight in high-sec but how can i move this ship to another solar system ?
( sorry for my english sometime is very bad )

You need to open a cynosural field in the target system, you can jump your carrier to these.
I happen to have the skill trained and a cyno ship ready, contact me in game and I'll help you move that carrier

what system is it? it may be a system specific bug. we can come activate the gate for you if you sit on it.

please transfer the carrier to me so taht i may move it for you. on a serious note, people really need to know how to deploy a cap and the uses a few months BEFORE they can fly it

You can't move a carrier to Hi-Sec if you wish to move it, it will have to be moved to another low-sec system and you need a cynofield in order to move it.

The point most people seem to be missing is that the ONLY gate in the system is 0.5.
The question could be rephrased as "can you cyno between two 0.4 systems if there is a 0.5 in the way".
If yes, the follow up questions for Weastcost would be "how far in LY to the nearest <0.5 system, and do your skills allow you to jump that far"?
WeastCoast, it would have been worth doing a little research before buying or building a carrier.

I wanted to fly a Carrier & a Nyx when I first started playing Eve. I wanted those ships from day 1.
Nearly 3 years later my alt can fly a carrier reasonably well- no harm with ambition but alas you have to accept the same limitations as all of us. If you buy a skilled character that does not mean you are ready to explore all the options that character can give you as there would be little or no understanding of game mechanics.
There is much merit from doing things slowly, so enjoy your many deaths as that in its self is a learning experience.
