Hi I'm new to eve. Started on Tuesday? been doing some of the beginner tutorials and playing the market. Made 20m yesterday and reinvesting it of course.
I wont pretend to be new to trading because I'm a buyer for my company, and dabble in the stock market on a personal level. What I'm wondering is how to tap in to the eve market... like what to research regarding popularity of items among different player types. All I can see at the moment is frequency of trade per item, and a bunch of stations. I have established there are certain trade hubs but do now wish to focus on them and their .01 isking nonsense thanks.
I'm researching the game like crazy but I'm not a pilot really, just want to play the market and skill up trading at the moment. Thanks.
Where is a good place to get an idea of what modules are worth trading and worth ignoring, thanks. I'm talking player manufactured mods here not npc trade goods, thanks.

BattleClinic.com (or any other killboard) will give you an idea which modules people actually use for PvP.
If you don't want to focus on the big hubs, one (potentially very profitable) stream of revenue is hauling PvP equipment to low-sec and sell it with an heavy markup. The crucial part of any venture doing this is ofc researching which modules to import - and that's the point at which battleclinic comes into play . (one caveat: you should probably get into a Transport Ship or use a scout when hauling mods to/through low-sec).
Otherwise - get into a player corp and talk to some of your corpmates in different professions about how they do their jobs and which equipment they like to use for it. They will probably love to lecture you and you will get a broad idea about the relevant markets (and about your corpmates purchasing power ).

I'm going to give a tip away here, consumables like drones and ammo, right near lowsec sell like wild fire ;-)
Best of luck, and if what I've read is anything to go by, 20 mil inside you're first week is quite a profit!

Thank you all for your advice. I will look at the mods people use for pvp. That makes total sense since they will be the people losing and buying ships again :) Thanks for being helpful to a newb
