Hello fellow space men, I've recently reactivated my account after a long hiatus
Would be much appreciated if I could kindly get some advice regarding my skills
I'm mainly focused on combat and in love with gallente ships and drones, but I'm kinda lost as to which skill I should be focusing on that I've missed

1. An intermediate term goal should be all relevant engineering, electronic, mechanic and navigation skills to 4. Since you want to fly Gallente, you'll want most drones skills to 4 aswell (get Minmatar drone spec!) and gunnery skills to 4 too.
2. Aim for T2 modules: weapons, tank, utility, ... They might need a skill trained to V or they might only need it to II. Be wary with training your weapon and drone skills to V. They take a lot of time if you are not going to using them
3. Try to get a number of essential skills to V: electronics, weapon upgrades, navigation will help any ship a lot.
4. Figure out want you want to do. Are you mission running, ratting, exploring, pvp'ing? How much isk can you afford to loose per ship? You might want to do all of these but you'll want to focus on one at the moment. This choice what ships you'll be flying. If you want to do exploration, an Ishkur is a very lovely ship. For pvp, you don't want to loose such an expensive ship and perhaps a cheaply fitted Vexor is a better choice. If you want to get into l4 missions, the Dominix offers the easiest option to entry.
5. Figure out a way to combine the above points that you have some skills to enjoy yourself now and some skills you'll be able to use later on. |
