I'm just wondering how many offices a station can hold.
Our corp would like to rent an office in a station but it seems to be full. The interesting part is that there are 17 offices in this station. It seems strange to set the maximum amount of offices to 17. 20 or 25 is to me a more appropriate a number. Is this a bug?

How did you rent your first offices to begin with? I try and all are full, but the few I do find, I get a message...
You would need 1.0 ISK to complete this operation, while you only have 0.0.

Try looking at other posts. I answered this one like 2 threads down.. This is the last time
When you try to rent an office the isk comes from the corp wallet. If you have zero in the corp wallet it don't matter if you have 6 billion in your wallet it will still say you have 0 isk.
The number of offices is set. There is a way to get an office at any place regardless of how many are set up there already. but on second thought.. I think I'll keep this info secret for now.
Hope this helps on the wallet part anyway.

The number of offices per station is the exact same as the number of factories or labs in stations that have those. 16.
However, keep in mind that is 16 OFFICES. Headquarters do NOT count against this number. So when counting how many are already there, only count corporations with either "Office" or "Headquarters, Office". Just "Headquarters", including the NPC corp HQ that is in every station, do not count against the 16 slots. Headquarters also do not come with a corp hangar and are thus only useful as a location for people to put in an app for your corp. The only way to get a HQ at a station without an office is to create the corporation from that station.
And, of course, since one man corps have rented out the universe, and offices are completely unrentable (only released if the entire corporation disbands), it's nigh-on-impossible to get an office in a useful location anymore.
