Yeh it's fairly intermittent, I had this once or twice while multiboxing for a few hours. Inititally CCP and other people with the bug thought it may have been vram running out, further investigation it is most likely a texture fetching problem with an unknown cause

Oh and this bug is present in TQ as well as the test server. You can probably replicate it by opening 3/4 clients and warping them all to a mission with lots of missile NPC's

One day I were going to the corner store to get me a cup of pop. The man there had just purchased the soda jerk and we all went there just about every other day... or was it every day... oh well... Anyways the owner of the store died quite a few years ago, he had a nice funeral and such. I met his daughter there, shes a nice gal, never knew he had kids. |

Which OS are you using? I had all of the above problems using an old Nvidia 8800GT with Windows XP. Reinstalled Eve and drivers but kept getting the same issues. I finally upgraded to Windows 7 and the only issue I now get is the "white" stations/gates which seem to accompany ghostly look to ships cloaking. |

Eve fried my 4970 x2 because I left it on interval immediate.
Then I got a 6990 and it does the same thing after a few hours of playing, especially in the character creator section, so I just set it to interval one (vsynch) and now it doesn't murder my GPU in station, because it was telling it to display the game at 800 fps, which overheated the f out of my card.
Now it's at a comfortable 120 FPS at all times (I have a 3D screen), and my GPU doesn't go to 80 degrees anymore.
