I'm still unsure if is should buy this or not ( after WAR and AoC dying within months of purchase)
So what is good about Aion , and is it likely to still have a community in 6 months

Well that is entirely subjective , what i am asking is : what is good about AION, what sets it apart from other theme park mmo's ?

It's main marketing point so far seem to be "it's pretty"

It's like WoW, but without the Down's Syndrome.
The main problem with it is that there are still mouth-breathing ******s like the OP who decide to post pictures directly into threads. Hopefully people like him will quit fairly early.

Well just to start off, it looks amazing. The game play is amazing, adding in a new element of combat while flying. You get the best part of most games "flying" early on, don't have to wait, a million years to fly like in "WoW". Idk, games awesome, i was in Closed Beta, and in Open beta. But you know yourself better then I do. Just give it a shot and see what you think.

Since these type of games don't differ in any significan't way, that is a pretty convincing argument. The first good game that looks beautiful and has bouncing asses and breast will dominate the market.
Also, WTF is with all the text in those pics. Can't they seriously not think of better ways to differentiate between different guilds and players.
