So I was in my Nightmare running Angel Extravaganza when a Catalyst warps in and starts looting and salvaging my stuff. I clean up the room and then move off about 20 kilometers off the Catalyst and pop him.
He warps his pod out, and I expect him to return, so I warp back to my home station in the neighboring system, intending to wait out my timer. I jump back in a MWD Phantasm just to check, and yup, he's sitting on the gate in a Dominix. MWD outta there, and aggression timer runs out. Head back to my home station, refit the Nightmare for PvP and head back to finish the mission. Just as I warp in the third pocket, yup there he is in the Domi. Not blinky yet, so I head on in to the last room and start popping rats. Sure enough, he comes in and steals from a wreckage. All blinky now, but funny thing is, all rats except one target him. "OMGLOLZ??" I think and pop my BS rat and then asks my corpmate Klown where he is. "5 jumps out...in a Falcon".  HELL YEAH!
I tell Klown to get his ass over here, open up a fleet and start ripping the dude a new one. He moves in, scrams me (I scram right back) and OMGWHERETHE****DIDMYCAPACITORGO!? Great, a neut Dominix. ****. Well, Klown is on his way, I have to try to live long enough. Micromanaging my cap, I managed to get him into structure with my point and web switching on and off due to cap issues. Hell, even my DCU turned off once. Just as Klown lands in the mission pocket, the Domi goes pop.
With Klown on the scene, I clear up the last rats and the final wave spawns. Woop, would you look at that, a Hyperion on scan. He's actually coming back? Mkay...finish off the Spider Drones but can't kill the last BS rat because he's way out of scorch range (71 km away), the Hyperion lands in my pocket.
I tell Klown to stay cloaked and I open up on the Hype at 35 km away. His shields is melting like butter and is down in 2,5 volleys, but start taking a lot less damage on armor, but still enough. He comes burning towards me at high speed, probably afterburner on, and web, scram and opens up with Electron blasters and 4 (fixed because I fail at visuals) Ogre IIs. I get surprised at the meh damage he's doing, but he's repping like a madman. I can hardly break his tank, but I'm tanking fine too.
I send my drones after his and and soon they are badly chewed up so he calls them back. That's when I call in Klown, who puts down the jam-smack on the Hyperion who quickly looses lock. But lo and behold, he manages to punch thru and sends his Ogres on Klown who's starting to melt fast. I lock up the Ogres, load scorches and onevolley them one by one at 45 km.
Once the drones are out, Klown gets the jamming up again, and the Hyperion melts like butter under the burns of my heavy neut and Megapulses. (I suspect he stopped repping due to realizing he was screwed)
Just another day missioning.
EDIT: Fixed number of Ogres and removed killboard links (I hate you C&P). If you are interested in the killmails themselves, look me up on Battleclinic. It's hard to miss...Catalyst, Domi and Hype, all within like 20 minutes.

I was gonna make some troll response like cool story, bro, but I actually enjoyed reading it, 8/10. Also, Hypes only launch 4Heavy drones, not 5. 
Edit: Also be prepared to get abuse for linking to Battleclinic, and for shooting a ninja, and for bringing in a falcon.

I just love seeing the mentality of 'I just lost a boat load of ISK... I know the solution, throw more ISK at the problem!!' on display, so nicely done

Yes, the Domi fight was exciting. Had nearly no cap whatsoever (no wonder when he was using 2 heavies and 4 med neuts on me) and still had to tank and shoot. Prevailed in the end. The second fight against the Hype was more of a "make a statement-gank" due to me having a Falcon on my side. Fun nonetheless ;)
Also, the amount of adrenaline you get for putting a few bil worth of ship on the line is quite...intoxicating.

Considering the time it took him to fly his pod back and then come back in the Hype, I doubt he even considered refitting it.

good story. But I really thought you would use a ship scanning module when you saw the guy on the gate though... that would be useful next time. You could of seen his setup and prepared for his neuts.
