Hello,
Is anyone else having problems with the petition response time? I filed a petition almost 10 days ago for billing issues and have gotten absolutely no response. I've seen others saying you should get a response in 2-3 days... obviously that is not the case and I was just wondering if anyone else was just stuck waiting. Should I file another petition or just sit and wait? |

Well, between accounts being hacked, post-patch server issues and whatnot, I suspect customer service have their hands full. On the other hand, billing issues are usually moved up in the queue.

Possibly, but at the same time, the day of the first server crash on Saturday morning, about 7 hours later, I asked to have my mission reset and they had it done in like 3 minutes. It seems billing issues should take precedent over my mission that was eff'ed up by the server crashing.

Haha, so is it just me then? Also, I lodged my petition on September 5th and it is now September 13th. That predates the recent server issues and the patch...

Have you had any response or movement on the petition at least? Like have they acknowledged that they are working on it?

Different team, possibly even a temp. Resetting a mission requires less autorization and training than sorting out billing issues.

Well, in brighter news for me my petition was answered this morning. The issues have been resolved favorably and everything is taken care of. So, if you are having account issues maybe the response time is sitting between 1-2 weeks since mine was taken care of in 10 days. Good luck to everyone who's still waiting!

I'm on my second petition about getting my account that is "banned pending investigation" open and playable again... right now CCP has... what shall we call it?.. Lag, yes, they're lagging behind in petitions. We just have to wait for them to catch up... I hope.

4 days of waiting. I managed to time a jump betwen two clones exactly when the server crashed and now i have one of the clones implants scaterd betwen the two clones and one sett of implants deleted.
Dont want to undock and play untill this is sorted if i get podded or somthing like that ccp may say that i lost them to enemy fire. So i gues i have to wait another 10 days or so, so untill then i cancel my accounts.

That it does, but an actual acknowledgement from a real person that your petition is at least being reviewed would be proper and professional.

I'm having socket closed issues and put in a petition at the beginning of last weekend. The game is virtually unplayable to me right now, so while I understand the possible complexity of the issue, no resolution let alone any progress towards one really sucks for customer service. I've certainly given them enough files and data to go off of so they should be able to respond with some sort of possible solution to try. Heck, I won't even mind if it's one I've tried before so long as I get something from them..........

Back in 2004 CS/GM response time was very, very fast if your account was in good standing. It could be post-patch Sunday with the server having a heart attack three times a day and half the player base stuck on gates. I never had a petition go unresolved for more than 6 hours.
Five years later...
If the CS/GM goons respond at all, it takes over 48 hours. That first response is always a copy/paste form response now. It takes another 48 hours to get another follow up. Again, that's if you get one. If you're lucky enough you might get help. The most likely thing is that your petition will drag on for 9 months and then time out and die, or you'll get some cheeky copy/paste where the TL;DR is "The logs. They show nothing." If you're really lucky someone might crash your petition and start harassing the GMs until you get banned, so you don't have to worry about it anymore.
It's nice to know that in these harsh economic times, they laid off their entire CS/GM department and replaced them with Injuns... err, Indians. If they were Injuns they'd actually be fun and helpful.
