Lately I've been wondering about the effectiveness of interceptors against the Sleeper buggers. I haven't had much experience in either the inti or against sleepers, so how would the tactics work? What would the benefits be for a Taranis versus an Ares? Do you want to go in close, or stay away (blasters vs rails)? And how would you use an inti in conjunction with BC's or BS's, or in an inti gang? What about lone wolf?
I'm not looking for profit necessarily, either, I just want to get an idea about the dynamics. I've always liked interceptors, ever since they came out, but ive never been able to really fly one as it's meant to be flown.
Also, random question, how well do intis work as anti-fighter platforms?

With the godlike tracking of the sleepers I cant see this working too well.
Against fighters cruisers / BCs work reasonably well, no need for interceptors there.

Sleeper electronic warfare ships have 40km webs and cruiser sized and up can hit out to around 50km reliably, sometimes further depending on the site.

Sleepers dont have godlike tracking. You can speedtank their battleships (if your not webbed) in a bc easily. Then again, i was using an absolution and an afterburner.
