Currently you have the option of training learning skills that give you up to +10 to each attribute.
Your base attributes total 39 points or 7.8 on average.
Getting the learning skills to at least +8 (very easy) more than doubles your training speed.
Adding implants to this you have a possible +15 (not including learning because it adds % to base attribs too) which is almost twice the base attributes.
This means that in-game skills and items can triple your skill training time. IMO this is BAD for several reasons I am going to leave open for this OP.
I am going to skip directly to how to fix this. Simply put base attribs need to be higher, on average between 15 - 20 AT LEAST.
The option of doing learning skills should not TRIPLE your training speed, they should at most double your training speed. The game is more about skills OTHER than learning skills (or should be).

Ideia: -remove the basic learning skills except learning. -change advanced skills requirment to learning 4 -increase all base stats by 5.
_ I like to play this game because it make my in-game actions and archievments to mean something in-game. |

If its more about skill then skill points anyways, then having faster training shouldn't be a problem at all.

So your choices in game and the training you do in game has a larger effect than your starting stats.
Why this is bad?
Sure, if you are a PvPers and lose a lot of clones the implants can be pricey, but that is a different problem.
To resolve that problem I would like to see something similar to the "learning boosters" cited in some of the background materials.
Chemical boosters (pills, possibly made using gases) that increase one or more stats for x hours so you can guzzle them when you clone jump in your combat clone and still have the advantage of high stats.
Naturally they should be not cumulative with stat increasing implants and the probable cost should be around the cost of a equivalent stat boosting implant divided by 60-120 for a daily dose.

Even without implants you can more than double your skill training speed. All in all this makes the learning skills too important from the get go.
Learning boosters (don't add up with implants) would be awesome too. I'd say 24h duration. . |
