It came to my mind as living in empire how much bull**** Shar Tegral can write...
Its like Shar Tegral hates SA, last time it was about a minor civil war in SA... this time its SA going pirate cause they honor there friends that are fighting alongside them! why should they just dishonor atuk that are fighting everyday with SA, and then celestial thinks they are the good guys and can do whatever they want to...
I talked to a SA guy who was feeling bad about going to war with celestial, but then again - They been senting n00b corps, neutral corps in shuttles to see if they were gonna pod them... and have a bad excuse...
Why is it i feel eveguardian have become a onesided newspaper?
Never ask the other part of their side of the story...
I got a little wish for Shar Tegral, post something constructive or STOP posting. its only damaging your image...

I think you're wrong. 
The bottom line of the article is pretty much, SA did the right thing given the circumstances, and Celestial Apocalypse guys are in no position to cry foul about getting shot for what they did.

I think you're wrong.
The bottom line of the article is pretty much, SA did the right thing given the circumstances, and Celestial Apocalypse guys are in no position to cry foul about getting shot for what they did.

Another brilliant example on how ppl interpret threads how they like, not whats actually the point. For the sake of the eve community, words like pwned, roxor, sux should been used to get the point across i guess.

I'm SA and have had no contact with CELES apart from forum posts (I'm sure many will agree this is not the best medium for creating understanding). All I'll say is I hope our diplomats are still talking. While this maybe fun (lets face it, shooting stuff is fun) for everyone at the moment, I'ts not really in anyones best interests to prolong it past venting some anger.

I tend to agree that EVE guardian isnt the essential read it used to be, but I do think Shar is doing the best job possible under the circumstances. Perhaps the EVE community should use their forum whoring powers for good instead of evil and write some articles for it.

Not totally true. They've done a line of articles on the EVE economy and some articles on various corps (BIG springs to mind) which were wuite good reads.
The news articles, however, are to much pop-journalism, and why I don't like them.

I for one, despite being the polor opposite of Shar and EG, respect them and found them to be generally honest about most issues (except lallante, that tall-brained...). I read the article, and I found it appropriate. The thing that strikes me is that Celes leadership thinks is over crap like shooting suspicious newbs, or newer sa members shooting a corp that has a name almost identicle to some new CA corp, and a logo that is practically identicle to Section 8's. Of course this is over our ally. Stainers are a notoriouslyy isolationest lot, but when we make friends, we will defend them to the last, ATUK are counted amongst those friends, as are XETIC, and to some extent FA and CFS (can't they just get along? CA is a much better target then each other). Unlike PA, FA and most other allainces, we warn neutral to get the hell away efore they get shot, if they dont respond, its because measures were taking to sa***uard the ships and the fleet. If anyone is wrongfully kille,d we will fully reimburse once our investigation is complete (I know of few instances where people tried scamming, so most unfortunate accidents are compensated). When your at war with a foe as clever as CA, you learn to look under every rock. Celes is to stubborn and ignorant to understand War in eve, and piracy in eve. SA stands by its friends, and once friendship is EARNED, its there until its betrayed.

i remember when they did mdw's, morkt wrote better, but ... he didnt even get teh slot layout of the dominix correct.. i was just ... wtf in a e-zine. wtf. oh well. then i stopped taking eg seriously.
