What is CCP's stand on this?
Suicide-ganking just seems like it's combat - for people who can't fight.

CCP's stance is that Concord is in place to punish the offender. And did.
Concord punishes, not protects.

If you can take down enough ships to get enough loot to make the loss worthwhile (and with the right insurance that isn't much) suicide ganking works. Hulks have expensive mods. Thus you should always be prepared for such events. Shield that puppy up!

Gotta be a troll.
I'm doing my homework, not paying attention , and got killed in a PVP game and wondering what happened?
CCP's stand?
Geez I won't put words in their mouth but its not even remotely an exploit. Like people said, Concord is their to punish.
If they wanted to protect players from any unwanted attacks all they'd need to do would put in a No-pvp flag.
You can look for quotes in the marketing stuff, but they describe space as always having some element of danger in it.

Actually just had the pleasure of watching suicide bombers do the trick on a corp. Basically it was 2 - 3 (usually) battleships (in this case they were Amarr) getting into the close confines of a mining fleet. Then opened up with smart bombs.
End total: 2 BS down - 4 afk botters floating in space. Also I think an Orca went pop.
Individual miners aren't worth it compared to the small fleets you see in certain systems. Those re worth the suicide < death ratio.

If you have friends, a small fleet of dessies is the easiest and cheapest way to suicide hulks. An easy rule of thumb is 1 dessie per 0.1 of system sec status. (Ex. 0.7 system, 7 dessies) This can end up being overkill, but it's better to ensure target destruction. Just T1 gank fit the dessies: High full of the largest short range gun, 3 rounds of the top damage faction ammo per gun, as many sensor boosters that will fit, damage mods in the lows.

As far as CCP stand on it? It's all part of the game.

I think the answer is to get yourself into a combat ship and fight back.
As the other posters have said, Eve is a PVP game at its core. All the other activities are really peripheral to the real deal.
I've been a carebear mission runner and trader for the last year and thought I was having fun accumulating isk and PVE ships but I always felt something was missing.
Over the last couple of weeks I've attempted to teach myself PVP and can honestly say that I can't believe I've been missing out on what the game is really about for so long. It's WAY more fun than all the other stuff put together.
IÆve died loads and loads but with a jump clone, insured T1 ships and a cheap fit thatÆs no big deal. Check who the bad guys were from the kill mail and go get em or if youÆre rich, hire some mercs to do the dirty work.
Incidentally, if any suicide gankers are reading this and want a juicy target in .06 space, I know of a big ice mining operation that appears to be mostly AFK people. Loads of T2 drones out and 30-40 big ships, mix of Orcas, Hulks, Mackinaws and Roquals.
Always in the belt at the same time, make me a good offer and IÆll provide the details or meet your gang and fly you in.

I read this alot on the forums, If CCP wants a all out PvP Game, then remove the Industrial and other aspects and then spawn the items PvP'ers need on the market. That'll stop the wining.

I'm guessing that the vast majority of mission grinding, mining and industrial activity is done to support players pvp habits. Running missions, salvaging and refining then producing your own pvp ships and modules is much cheaper than buying from the market so the professions will always have a use.
The funny thing is that some people don't see these activities as a necessary evil to raise money for pvp, they see these activities as THE GAME. That's why it's brilliant when carebear miners soil themselves when a load of pvp ships jump into their 'safe' mining operation and blow everybody up.
Eve wouldnÆt have anywhere near the amount of jollies if it was just full of hardened pvp experts and new players wouldnÆt be have any realistic targets to get their teeth into.
I reckon itÆs just fine as it is.

I don't disagree, What I do disagree with is the players who state the Eve is only a PvP game, I've chatted with peeps who only do mining, R & D, and those who only do PvP. In my mind the real PvP'ers wouldn't gank or wardec a Industrial only Corp, but go for rival pvp corps/players. Unless the industrial cohoots with a rival Alliance/corp. But then, my main stays in 0.0 so who am I to comment

I know for a fact that our operations dont do it for the money - we rarely bother to collect the loot unless we are using a hauler as a warp in and not a cloaker (ofc if it is faction then we do).
And no it is a different form of pvp. More like a fulfilling the addict of watching expensive ships blow up. =)

10 bs can kill a lot of expensive ships in 0.0 if they know how to pvp
in fact i killed a proteus last nigth in a gang of 2bc . and he was able to fight back unlike your targets
the real reason you do it is that it cant go wrong there wont be 20 bs to gank your 10 before you find that afk hulk so your 100% safe ,
so im sorry but there is no satisfaction out of empire ganking other then looting and ****ing off ppl like deathscyth here . if you find its worth it feel free to continue . just don't brag about it .
