hulk is only used with a fully skilled Orca with Range and ammount mods.

if its suported by orca then where do you need rigs on it? Solo hulker i would recomend rigs that expand cargo hold. But thats not case here.

Not sure, Never really used rigs before (on none combat ships)
Was just making sure I wasn't overlooking anything.

As far as I'm aware the only rigs that increase your yield are mining drone augmenters, assuming you're using mining drones. It's not a big increase.

cargo opt rigs to slow down cargo transfers and make mining more relaxing

if i was gonna put any rigs on my hulk i'd go with something to boost shield. mining without an orca or at least someone to haul is silly. have someone help you and give yourself some extra EHP. shield rigs + hulk = good

yeah, the core defence operational solidifiers really can make for a nice shield boost setup. Really need faction boster and hardeners though to go with it

Mining Drone Augmenter II ! If you have an orca, thats the way to get more yummi veldspar.... Expensive but tasty!

I have CCC on mine. Helps with the smaller asteroids.
When not using the Orca, the Orca pilot gets in a Hulk too (only need Astrogeology 5 and Exhumers 1), and I move to cargo rigged one as well.
Orca + 2 Hulks > 2 Hulks > Orca + 1 Hulk
I also have a pair of Mackinaws for ice harvesting and rigged for cargo (3 cycles, which for my chars is 19 minutes 55 seconds).
