....to anything the players ask? Im reading the test patch notes and im seeing even more nerfs that came from forum whinage (moros fe), even more skill nerfs to make them easier to train. Why ccp? Your game hasn't died all these years because of how it wis, if you start making it super-easy you it will survive the competition?. We all know eve is getting constantly infested by ex-wowers, who are used to super-easy stuff and come here with that approach and expect you to satisfy their requests or they will quit. (just how they do with blizzard and they succeed). If you want to hear my opinion you should start being more "protective" with your game, or else eve's future is grim imho. Ofc if you too during all these years have been so corrupted that you only care about money then hope is lost....

Even though that was a bit hard to read, I get your point, and I agree.
I like to play eve because it's hard, unbalanced, and unfair and if you know what you're doing you can make that work to your favor.

The only skill change I question is bomb deployment as all the others serve either address imbalances with new player or to let new players try something sooner. Onto bomb deployment though, it is a skill that feels like it should take a major commitment of time but as it currently is it is overly hard on Gallente Spec'd pilots and a little hard on the average Amarr Spec'd one. Neither has a huge use for spending about 10 days on missile skills wear with caldari and minmatar it is almost a requirement anyway. Really I would like to see another level 5 skill attached to bomb deployment but one useful to every race like Weapon Upgrades.
And really you are complaining about the moros getting nerfed, out of siege mode it currently does almost double the DPS of the other dreads and has the ability to use its drones to kill every sub capital hull size with ease. Lol with max skills it does 282 DPS with a flight of Warrior II's talk about overpowered. 5 seconds to kill an interceptor other than the lock time lol.

Like Jat said, hard to read but I agree. These were my thoughts as well when I read that the skill requirements for several mods, such as the small tractor beam (huh....) had been lowered.
So far things wrong with this patch include:
Camo faction ships NPC corp tax Lowered skill requirements for basic items.
There is really no logic or reason to any of the above, so ill ask what everyone is wondering, what are you smoking, and where can I get some? On an unrelated note, Kneel before Zod! |

Consider Trajectory Analysis increases Fall-off the only area that really affects projectile turret range and requires level 5 gunnery. Now Lasers pretty much use optimal and Sharpshooter which has a requirement of gunnery II gives them the majority of their range bonus. Hybrids are in the middle and would probably be tolerable. But damnit the minmatar have enough problems without kicking them down a bit the first month.

I can understand that CCP need more players to get more revenue...
HOWEVER, a lot of the changes in Dominion are good. But some of the smaller things like some skill changes can be seen as an attempt to keep players from easier MMO's in the game.
They need to take a good look at a couple of things imo: 1. Having 1,000 loyal players constantly playing is much better than having 2,000 players starting and finishing the game all the time. The latter means unstable revenue and a quick death to the game should you make 1 big slip up...
2. Player quality... Traditionally WoW players are kids that (without sounding prejudice as there ARE exceptions) are immature and have a short attention span. You need to work on finding mature, grown up (at least mentally) players. They are the ones that will stay (and give you long term revenue!).
3. You have made the hardest MMO I have ever known of. In the pursuit of making better tutorials, you have made too many. A friend of mine recently tried to start playing on his own and it took him almost 10 days to get through most of the tutorials and the EPIC Ark is... Bloody colossal. He was going to quit before I took him under my wing... Try to focus on a few, crash course tutorials and try to ask the player if they want to do what tutorial, don't force all the tutorials and Arks on them.

They don't. Players suggest a hundred things. CCP picks them up and after careful deliberation, checking of logs and running it past several designers implements 10 of them, often in an altered form. People like you conveniently forget the 90 ideas than didn't pass and start screaming foul. It's just not true. EVE would have been dead 6 months after launch if it was because players are terrible at gamedesign.

Cry me a river. You don't need to train controlled bursts for projectiles...
