I'm a big fan of MMO's; I've been playing the Dark Ages of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies and hopefully Guild wars in the future.
In both of the latter games, there has been a big roleplaying section of some sorts. I was just wondering whether there is the same sort of things, whether it be a corp, or other type of roleplaying community?
Thanks.

Ive not been involved in really any "roleplaying" in eve. Been here since the last phase of beta. I hear there are corps that roleplay but Ive not really been exposed to any of it. Im prolly missing it thou. Kissinger mentioned the intergalactic summit so -what he said

Kilnor. Listen into the different race channels in game. You tend to find many of the roleplayers in Eve, bounce in and out of them at some time or another. It was through the Amarr channel that I have got into the roleplay side of Eve, and have found my game experience increase a hell of a lot, even if I myself don't roleplay as heard as soem of my friends and colleagues do

Truthfully, I think you start roleplaying the minute your character "speaks" to another. I know some may not agree with that but I don't think I act much the way my character does in real life. I don't know many pirates that fly around the real world ganking random cars either.
What I'm saying is that you don't have to be hardcore with the fantasy speech you are probably accustomed to because this is sci fi. I think you can talk normally and still roleplay as long as you don't leave your character.
That's just my two cents.
