If you're still reading this thread Aporia, do you think there's some way that the music from the EVE trailers and the login screen could get added to the client as chooseable tracks in the jukebox? It's good music, and i'd love to be able to play it ingame.

If CCP invented the cure for cancer you lot would demand it hand-delivered by supermodels in a 24ct gold bottle.

Quoting this for great justice. It doesn't have to be server side - I suggest a flag in the new sov that says this is enabled, and then it looks in a hierarchy
Region/Constellation/SystemName.MP3
The reason this SHOULDN'T be server side is you know people will abuse it. This way, alliances or corporations can issue sound packs to their members.

For what its worth, this doesn't work for me. The jukebox by default is empty, and selecting open playlist causes nothing to happen. The mp3s are in the jukebox folder however.

I had the same problem, after a client restart it worked. No problem since then and still wondering why it did not work the first time.
Kinda hard to post a bugreport on this one |

Can we teach it to import Music lists from iTunes / Winamp / WMP?
not playlists but the locations of music on our harddrives without all the "collecting data" or "please duplicate your 60 gb off music here".

see my previous post :/
you simply type/paste the address of your directory and it will play all the files from that location. it also keeps that location stored. theres no drop down list but it does keep the history stored. nothing gets moved or duplicated.
the ui needs ALOT of work but its working very smooth atm. The big issue is that you have to enable audio and that enables all eve music. you then need to reduce the ambient music/sound effects/anoying chick so that you can hear the music undisturbed. maybe the jukebox should have a seperate channel.

Just right-click on the Jukebox menu item and select 'Open Playlist' (and don't worry, that dialogue popping up there will get more love from me until release).
I'm not getting any Popup when hitting "Open Playlists"

This is currently not possible, but it's on the nice-to-have list.
I officially love you guys for adding this back, though streaming support really really would make so many people happy. EVE radio from within eve :) now that's how it should be.

The 'Open Playlist' entry is not working when you are suffering from the "No Sound" issue that resulted from using the differential patch only - try using the full installer instead (which may or may not require a start-restart of the client before it works).

EVE radio plays fine through the IGB, though I personally prefer pandora.com. ...

Though nothing in that box actually works, as the playlist doesn't get changed.

I still strongly suggest Shoutcast support in a future patch, since IGB will probably have limited # of tabs or windows to avoid abuse.

Confirming your claims. I Installed the offline installer instead earlier in the thread and it was fixed. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

I was talking about a complete lack of sound. I'm not sure the custom jukebox is even working yet, but I honestly haven't tried it.
However before doing a clean install, I was getting no sound in Singularity at all. Since it seems most of the people in this thread were having a similar problem, I told them how to fix it.
