It's one thing to try and rekindle that ol' BoB spirit. It's entirely another to willing ride the coattails of a superior corporations successes. The last thing that the real IT (Imperium Technologies for the uninitiated) needs, is to have some well known entity like former-BoB come in and besmirch what reputation we have. So, I suggest another name change. Seeing as they're currently looking for other peoples accomplishments to trade off of, I suggest they change their alliance name and ticker to Can't Alliance (CA). Then they could be considered Curse Alliance copycats, ImpTech gets left alone, and a whole new cascade of forum trolling can commence. ====================================

Other than filling the EVE forums with insults, scamming new players, and creating a stagnant pvp environment the likes of which the game has never seen, goonies have proved themselves to be the said cancer which almost killed the game. The last 6 months will forever be known as the ôDark Agesö in EVE history where truly nothing of any relevance happened. Oh waitàforgot about the goonie Industrial jihad in Jatete or some placeàà. Goonies should actually thank IT for forming since it might breathe a little life back into you being relevant again. LetÆs face it, no one wants to know what goons are doing next since itÆs pretty much a given that it wonÆt be much on your own. At this point we all know where the line is being drawn and as IT takes position on the field we will all be watching to see how many of the NAPT Alliances decide to climb back on the freak-show express for the ride. Will NC let PanSwarm fight IT alone or will they come up with some lame excuse to jump in? My guess is that everyoneÆs man parts are still pretty well tangled up and when the train starts to roll NC will be forced back into their horizontal position againà. The whole point of the Sov changes was to help prevent pathetic super-coaltions and AFK empires. If IT Alliance want Delve, they'll probably be able to get it, simply because they're much more capable than Goonswarm alone.

Actually, the devs have stated they want to make it hard/impossible for alliances to just go AFK from their space for months and form super-blobs, and the sov mechanics are part of that. The timers you see on SISI are what you will get on TQ, pending any dramatic changed - the whole POINT of the changes is to make fighting more fluent and less about grinding.
