Erm.....read the notes, read them again, then read them a third time. Then read what you wrote.
The notes say "which prevents concord.....repercussions for taking from, or destroying free for all wrecks"
That means, that if you accidentally mark your wrecks as FFA, that means anyone can take from them, or blow them up without concord getting angry.
I forsee many more mission runner tears.

yeah... train "reading comprehension" to at least level I before you post useless drivel like this again.
It says "take from or destroying free for all wrecks." Now, I don't know if english is your primary language or not, so I'll be nice and explain it:
If they had said "take the wrecks" that would have implied flagging for salvaging the wrecks as the wrecks themselves would be the direct subject of the action.
Instead they said "take from the wrecks", this instead means that things remain as normal with flagging only occurring for stealing loot. Based on the fact that the items within are now the implied subject of the verb with the wrecks being the container out of which they are taken.

Awww.... it was so cute how excited he got.
He was all like "lulz whine below... oops I mean comment" When it was more like "I hope you guys ignore the fact I can't read" Then it was like "You guys are still wrong, and I reads gud" And then I was like, it'll be fun to post here... once my 5 minutes is up. So I'm just sitting here typing, waiting for the time to pass.

that change is for one single reason: so you can mark your wrecks for FFA and avoid some pirate to refresh the aggression timer over and over and forcing you to sit docked until the wrecks despawn.

Quote: Player owned wrecks can now be marked as "Available for all" which prevents CONCORD or criminal repercussions for taking from or destroying free for all wrecks.
Unfortunately, people are quick to criticize others over vague sentences while hiding behind internet anonymity. They don't have to prove they are right at all, and so far no one has proven anyone else wrong regarding the ownership of wrecks.
One person reads the sentence and immediately (and strongly) believes that his interpretation is the only correct one, while someone else from a different walk of life reads the same sentence and gets an entirely different interpretation.
To the OP: Player-owned ship gets popped creating player-owned wreck.
To the other POV: Player pops NPC ship creating wreck tagged with the player's corporation which denotes "ownership" of the wreck.
Either way, no big deal. But the possibility of introducing another mechanic to initiate PvP with is interesting. In all fairness though, a miner works for his ore and if it is taken their is a flag. Likewise, a missioner works for his .....whatever..... and if someone steals from him it would be fair to flag them also.

I need coffee.. oops. didn't read it correctly. uh mission runner tears ??? well no. since theres no change on loot. just the usual
p.s: all we need now is a window which tells publicly where is the mission runner in space and a little button that allows the person to warp to him... I'm dreaming to much here

If they steal from them, they do get flagged.
However, since CCP states that wrecks don't have owners, no one is stealing anything.

what i find funny, is that CCP has to introduce stuff like "2 sec delay on direction scan, to lower CPU usage" or has to "bring down api key due database problems" ... and then they introduce this sort of stuff.

I'm pretty sure that changing a flag on a wreck, and requesting data from the server by thousands over players is a whole different issue.

Let me help the OP understand what he just quoted:
Quote: Player owned wrecks can now be marked as "Available for all" which prevents CONCORD or criminal repercussions for taking from or destroying free for all wrecks.
This is in reference to taking the loot from wrecks, not salvaging the wrecks. There is a big difference.

why would anyone in their right mind want to join a high sec greifing corp./alliance. ohh that's right they can't hack it in low/null sec. where you actually have to know how to pvp against other much more skilled pvpers than fighting some poor guy/girl in a failboat of a mission ship.

in my mind, if your in high-sec, your ninja salvaging and no one asked that ninja salvager to get the wrecks, then yes in my mind its griefing. Now a days, the missioner don't even ask to stop since its worthless and they (or we) all know what CCP's position to this is...for now.
p.s: I can do my own recycling...just give me time to finish my mission please

Cause when I want to mess with someone, there are 250 potentials in system instead of 1 who is cloaked and in bed?
Cause if I login tonight there is 0 chance of a Call to Arms forcing me to fly 30 jumps away to sit on a gate and protect a system that no one ever uses?
Cause 0.0 space is all ego, drama, butthurt, armchair emo nerd generals, blobs, bubble camps, and 6 hours of required ventrillo where you get to listen to nerds analyze every single ship and fitting in the game over and over and over and over and over and over and over?
Cause current 0.0 sovereignty rules suck?
Cause people in 0.0 think they are much better at PVP than they really are?
Cause it's a game and I will do whatever the hell I want that I think is fun?

I discovered something that I should share with you. Its called life. theres a sun, its bright, theres the earth, houses, people walking, people driving in some unusal metal thing (its a car if you don't know)
this means stop living under a rock . moygawd
so lets analyse what you said:
Cause when I want to mess with someone, there are 250 potentials in system instead of 1 who is cloaked and in bed? how many people you think there is in local. numbers aren't important. make a small gang and go in low or null sec. Stay in the first belt in system for a faster "rescue" team to get you
Cause if I login tonight there is 0 chance of a Call to Arms forcing me to fly 30 jumps away to sit on a gate and protect a system that no one ever uses? uhh, dont gatecamp and dont do 30 jumps then. Theres plenty of null sec and low sec system around where you are. (just in case you don't know, the eve universe is made in a shape of a flower. I know, its incredible its cute.)
Cause 0.0 space is all ego, drama, butthurt, armchair emo nerd generals, blobs, bubble camps, and 6 hours of required ventrillo where you get to listen to nerds analyze every single ship and fitting in the game over and over and over and over and over and over and over? Show us on the teddybear where the pirates touched you mkay ! seriously. get on vent and fight. if you don't want the debrief then don't listen, get a new ship (if you died ??) and fight again...
Cause current 0.0 sovereignty rules suck? Well talk to alliances or corps out there.. do I have to tell you more ? ok, I feel generous. Be social, be nice, be political in other words. Its amazing what you can do with this skill. Like go in null sec and stay there for 1 thing.
Cause people in 0.0 think they are much better at PVP than they really are? nope, thats related to a single entity and not a group. Sure, some do think there UBER and all but not everyone. looks like you just got bad luck I guess
Cause it's a game and I will do whatever the hell I want that I think is fun? True, do whatever you want but if you want tears ninja salvagin in high sec is not the creme de la creme kind of thing. The answer to where, why, how and when it is well I'll let that to yourself and scout.
p.s: yup, looks like we touched a nerve. well not touched it, we smashed it . Call me naive but I really think or I'm pretty sure theres lots of truth in there. Also, what I said was not meant to insult or hit you in any way

I do it for you Nidhiesk, I do it all for you.
I'm new to the whole ninja-salvage game, but this thread convinced me to go for it last night.. and you shouldn't knock it til you try it pal. One little frigate undoing a solid 45 mins of work right in the middle of some guys mission, knowing that his target was an empty threat.. Ran a cloaker too so I could make him think I had left on occasion.. good fun.
But what was this? This person returning in a destroyer, trying to claim MY salvage! Blasphemy...
This started a race, with him trying desperately to get to the BS wrecks before I could, me dodging the roids that he got stuck on.. I could hear his howls all the way from russia. Finally I got tired of his tractor beams pulling away my loot, so I just sat on his back like big fat tick, and salvaged the wrecks right from under his nose, even as he tractored them to himself.
He had it coming too, I double checked. Thanks Nid, for this exciting new hobby!
