Hello there.
GeoTech is a UK based corp made up entirely of UK players. We have been established for just a couple of months now and are doing very well indeed. The time has come for us to open our doors once again to new recruits.
Are you a UK player? Are you looking for a UK corp where people are online at the same time, speak the same lingo and drink vast amounts of the same booze?
If so, consider GeoTech.
We are a corp based around the principal that playing EvE should be FUN. We will not promise to put you into a cruiser or a battleship, we won't tell you how to play YOUR game and we certainly never will order you about.
What we CAN offer is a group of likeminded players who all enjoy a good laugh, drink silly amounts of alcohol, have wicked sense of humours and who are genuinely nice guys.

Been with GeoTech a couple of months now and found them to be a excellent bunch of people.
With a good mixture of older experienced players and faily new starters this corp has alot to offer people, with a mixture of different areas to explore within the corp, your options are always open.
Add to that the good sense of humour and you cannot go wrong.

I wouldn't bother with these people... very strange CEO. I joined and was in for about a week and a half... was asked to join by someone I gave 500k to and a couple of frigates at Kisogo 6 months earlier to get them started.
Anyway... the short story... after having sat around for about a week wondering what I should be doing I sent an email to the CEO asking if he would mind if I put out a corp email offering ships to corp members at cost price (I'm a manufacturing char with an extensive list of tech 1 BPO's)... so I'm thinking... ok.. I'll help out by building these guys ships at cost price to help them out. No... no... no... can't do that... next thing I find myself out on my ear. No explanation no conversation... just booted... Go figure

You disappoint me Jalena.  This is NOT the place to air your grievances with Shaleen. Why say not to bother with our Corp just because YOU didn't get on with our CEO? No one else has had a problem with Waz. The reason you were booted is because he didn't trust you. You came across far too pushy for someone who had only been involved with the Corp for a week. Did you really think you would be given Directorship so soon?  Stop acting like a spoilt child and DO NOT flame our recruitment posts. You know i respect you, but the above post is just out of order.

Well, I've been with GeoTech for several months now (almost from the beginning) and it's been really good. Everyone who's in the corp is a great laugh with a decent sense of humour.
By far the best corp I've been in so far and has made playing even more fun when you can rip the **** out of each other.
To echo what Shal is saying, if you want to have a laugh while playing and don't mind a bit of the ole banter then give us a shout.

When you first joined EVE who was it that gave you 500k and two top of the range frigates (as I do with a great many people who I deem to be noobs who create chars at Kisogo)? Who taught you to play the game? Who gave you advice, skills, guns, ammo, missiles etc and asked nothing in return?
If your CEO treats people in this way then people should know about it before they join GeoTech. You don't have a bad bunch of people, its just you have a somewhat "weird" CEO. If he had an issue then why didn't he talk to me? I sat around for a week and a half and did nothing in particular and was not asked to do anything for the good of the corp. I think I talked to him once online. I sent him ONE email asking permission to email the corp... it was nothing but a suggestion. I didn't go broadcasting my intentions or undermining his authority in any way. Why didn't he email me back saying "cool it". Instead I find myself out on my ear because of what?... a suggestion made in private to him... or was it my genorosity?
Like I said to you in private its actually no loss to me but its a great loss to the other members of GeoTech. Sad really because I could have supplied the entire corp at cost price pretty much any frigate, cruiser, industrial, module etc under the sun. You could have made a ton of isk, the corp would have been wallowing in cash within a month and wondering what the hell to do with it all

However this will not prevent me from saying when i think you are being out of order Jalena. YOU are the only person to have had a problem with Shaleen, no one else. Slandering our Corp over your personal issues is wrong. I will ask you nicely to please take this up with Shaleen. Here is not the place, please respect my request.
