Tonight an Amarrian fleet gathered with the goal of helping transport the Tetrimon documents to the Theology Council for their examination.
In Jark, the fleet met up with other pilots from a number of corporations, including Manu Forti, who also wished to see the Tetrimon documents transported safely.
This operation posed considerable risk. The Minmatars through a number of spies had been forewarned of our plans and awaited the arrival of the fleet deep in their territory.
But before the fleet even left Jark a group of Amarrian fundamentalists, led by Tyrrax Thork and Athule Snamn, attacked and killed the GrandMaster of the Tetrimon order - in direct contravention of the temporary amnesty granted them by the Amarr Empire.
Despite this horrifying act, the combined fleet dmoved on into Minmatar territory in order to complete the main task for the operation - the transportation of the Tetrimon documents to Amarr for examination by the Theology Council.
Scouts warned of a massing of Minmatars in the destination - Gurkarla. Nevertheless the fleet proceeded in stately fashion to the system and jumped in.
A large number of Minmatar terrorists were in evidence - over 25 known enemies of the CVA - however they were not at the jump in point.
Scouts reported the Minmatars camping the station housing the Tetrimon documents and undaunted the fleet commander warped the Amarr into action.
Outside the station all hell broke loose! Over 50 pilots engaged in a major combat which took place over a sustained twenty minute period.
Despite being outnumbered, the Minmatar terrorists fought bravely, but they were no match for the heavily armored Amarrian forces!
The Amarr fleet managed to destroy a large number* of terrorists including five battleships, eight cruisers, six frigates and four interceptors. The Amarr did not lose a single battleship! Its most serious loss was that of a brand new Zealot assault cruiser.
With the Minmatar fleet smashed and in retreat the work of transporting the Tetrimon materials to Amarr could commence. However, it was then learned that this cargo consisted of 400 colossal containers, each taking 1,000 cubic meteres of cargo space.
It was clear that the Amarrian fleet did not have the hauling capacity with it to succesfully move all the Tetrimon cannisters in one operation.
The haulers with the fleet collected as many cannisters as possible and, under the protection of the Amarrian battlefleet, moved back to Amarr to deliver them to the Theology Council.
Around 100 cannisters were delivered through this effort but many more needed to be moved.
A fleet of nine CVA Bestowers was gathered in Amarr and with a small escort once again ventured into deep into Minmatar territory. Fortunately, this tempting convoy target managed to avoid serious enagement with the Minmatar terrorists on its way down and were joined by another industrial in Gukarla.
The Minmatars had been alerted to this fleet presenece and an ambush put in place. In Lustrevik ten Minmatar struck the hauler convoy on its return to Amarr. The small escort was completely outmatched.
One of the Bestowers, piloted by an Imperial Dreams officer, suffered a systems failure and was destroyed at a gate. Despite this setback PIE pilot Windle Poons in an Apocalypse bravely held off the Minmatar fleet in Lustrevik, preventing pursuit of the Bestower convoy. As a result he lost his Apocalypse and life, but his priceless intervention undoubtedly prevented the destruction of more Bestowers.
The remaining nine industrials safely made it to Amarr and delivered their loads. Over half the Tetrimon cannisters, 213, had now been delivered to the Theology Council. 175 more are in Amarrian hands and will be delivered in due course. Another 12 cannisters are lost and presumably in Minmatar terrorist hands...
Once back in Amarr a number of CVA pilots transferred from industrials into combat ships and moved to Lustrevik to engage the terrorists who had ambushed them. This squadron of four battleships and an interceptor found the Minmatar fleet and succeeded in destroying a Typhoon battleship, a cruiser and frigate for no loss.
The job still remains to be completed but a good start was made. 175 cans still need to be delivered into Theology Council hands. There is no doubt however that that the terrorists suffered a severe blow this evening, with at least seven battleship, ten cruiser, nine frigate and five interceptor losses confirmed to date. There is no doubt that in this softened up state the remaining cannisters can be successfully delivered for the tribunal's verdict.
I salute everyone on both sides who took part today, even the Minmatars who fought with uncommon valour!

While I was unable to participate by restriction from the Ammatar Governor himself. I did watch as the cargo was moved and attempted to engage the terrorists at Lustrevik. They had the advantage of numbers and so I decided retreat was the best options.
I am glad to hear that the transports went ok. The Minmat's efforts have only destroyed a mere 5% of the total cargo, an acceptable loss considering the cirucumstances. Excellent work! -----------------------------------

Edited by: Haratu on 24/10/2004 03:16:14 Personally I still remain neutral on this issue... I don't consider it a victory until after the Tribunal has decided on a course of action. I think this because If the documents prove false then it is a defeat rather than a victory.
I still salute my fellow citizens... they did good work in an attempt to see this through.

I disagree Haratu.
If the documents are proven false, the fact that they were transported as successfully as they were means that the decicision can be much more decisive and well informed than what would happen with a smaller percentage of said documents. If the documents that we took to the Theology council prove to be false, they can be destroyed easily as they are now in the hands of the proper authorities and nothing was lost... and if they prove true then we know for certain that we have done good in restoring them.
And regardless of the end of the tribunal the fighting tonight has been of epic proportions, both the forces for and against Amarr fought long and hard today in a way that is seldom seen in such large scale engagements.
Gaven salutes all the fighters on both sides

Ever heard of an ancient tale from before time called the 'Illiad'? connected to that tale is talk of what is called a 'trojan horse'.
Be wary of gifts, they may just be weapons.

At any rate, those who opposed the Emperor's will were dealt a harsh blow.
This is a victory, for all Amarr, any way you cut it.

It was a great victory for Amarr. We managed to get a convoy both in and out of minmater territory, with minimal losses. We defeated all minmater forces that tried to stop us, and managed to get the scriptures delivered safely. ----------------------------------------------- The Amarr way is the right way

I agree. After the first ambush we thought we destroyed the resistance and then underestimated rebel reinforcements. We payed the price. It seems this lost container only had 'tools' but no documents which is pure luck on our side.
Grand Master Elata Ardo is dead. I can not say how deeply I am depressed.
This was a peacefull transport mission through the amarrian provinces Heimatar and Metropolis but once again minmatar terrorists attacked a convoy. It is clear that action must be taken to bring peace and stability into this regions.
The most important thing about this mission was that amarrians from different political factions worked together side by side. Yes, there were a few discussions but in the end pilots of Manu Forti, SHOD and other Sarum loyalists worked together with Khanid citizens, CVA forces and many freelancers. This united force made sure this operation became successfull. The lesson we all hopefully have learned is: united we Amarrians can crush Minmatar resistance at will.
We still dont have the proof but the scriptures of Tetrimon could open a new way to unite all Amarrians. Those who are interested to disturb the examination of this documents must be seen as enemies of Gods chosen people.

I would say that the real heroes of the battle were the Amarrian frigate jockeys.
Our fleet of glorious battleships was solidly target-jammed at the beginning of the engagement. Only the skill and ferocity of our holy frig warriors saved the day.

Tonight, once again, the Minmatar attempted to disrupt Amarrian shipping between Gukarla and Amarr.
Once again, the Minmatar were tought lessens in the superiority of Amarrian Vessels, as numerous Minmatar Battleships were scuttled, and Cruisers and Frigates vanquished.
As a founding member of the PIE Inquisition, I can but commend all those Amarr whom partook in the battle yesterday evening. A special thanks goes to Grand Inquisitor Gaius Kador, and to that of the current leader of the Inquisition - Intarius Daxx, for their hard work, dedication and training have made PIE's frigate forces something not to be laughed at.

I am happy to announce that SHOD forces have just finished transporting and escorting 50 more of the scripture containers to the Theology Council tribunal without incident. Hopefully the investigation will begin soon and all amarrians will learn the truth.
On another note, I would like to formally thank the pilots I flew with yesterday. It was truly a privilege to be part of such a fleet. May there be more like it in the future.

The identification and elimination of heretics and other state enemies is the sacred duty of all Amarrians. In matters of orthodoxy one must be careful that the most eloquent of heretics are eliminated first in order that their virulent lies cannot contaminate our anointed race. It is my sincere hope that yesterday's execution will simplify the inevitable decision which the Theology Council will doubtless now reach. In the absence of their most blatent corruptor of speech - the self-styled 'Grand Master' of Tetrimon - the clarity of The Council's analysis will be at its peak unaffected by his twisting words.
I salute the bravery of Tyrrax Thork and her Caldari servant in their great victory on behalf of the Empire! Intermundia tremuit, et quievit, dum resurgeret in judicio Amarr!
By now I expect the body of that venomous serpent, whose name I will not utter, will be in the hands of the Dissectionists for analysis. May all unpeople suffer the same fate!
Sancte Carolus Darwinus Archangele, defende nos in praelio; contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli Iovum mutatis esto praesidium. Domine, salvum fac DNA nostrum.
Credo in Unam Imperium!
