.. The EVE gate suddenly decided to open again and re-links us with our Sol system (where Earth is)?
Will there be a giant pro-Jove fleet coming through it?
Sleepers?
Aliens?
Space nazı's? 
Time-continuum was messed up which resulted into that we were only gone for an hour or so? (1 hour in Sol, 10.000+ years in EVE)
Or is it another dead system?
What do you think? What could happen according to your opinion?

They have had 15,000 years to develope more powerful technologies while we have had to start over from pre-industrial societies, assuming they have not had a fall of their own, which given human nature is more than likely.
I think a plausable premise would be that Earth and her colonized systems are now resource starved and over populated and were forced to find a way to re-open the path to New Eden. Old humanity would pour thorough, automatically trying to re-establish control over their "lost colonies".
Then the ka-ka would hit the ventilators.

chances are, if it happens (which it wont) The people from earths universe will attempt to re-control new eden, and since they found new eden by being mineral starved, and needing more space, we're probably more advanced than them, and it will result in new edens dominance.
I still wonder... if you go to the eve gate in new eden, theres still a big glob of what used to be the wormhole... whats it like in the milky way?
