Aboard the Revelation-class dreadnought known as Cyric's Immolation, Vaden Khale stands proudly atop a blood drenched stone, a stone cut from the bosom of Otou V. Forming a circle around him are eleven Amarrian men, all of them bald from freshly shaved heads, ritualistic marks of blood covering their skulls. Directly in front of Vaden is a shrouded man, sat on his knees, hands tied behind his back. His shaking is notable even from outside the circle.
Vaden holds forth an empty cup made from a human skull, clasping it with both hands as he begins his oratory.
Brothers! Fellow capsuleers of the Summit! I welcome you to the yearly celebration of Sabikannen, the Blood Night! At this sacred time every year we practitioners of the Sani Sabik faith wish to honor those who came before us and carry on in their traditions. The tradition of the Blood Night is to sacrifice a living human being to God! Last year, you may recall, a father sacrificed himself to save his daughter, a worthy sacrifice showing his love for his daughter, as God shows his love to us! This year is a more personal matter. Months ago, a fellow capsuleer dared to insult me. Three days later, his body was delivered to me. God's bounty and justice are truly magnanimous. From that gift came this!
He holds the chalice made from a human skull higher.
He delivered me a tool for tonight's glory.
His tone darkens as the eleven men begin closing in on the bound man in the center.
And through my own ingenuity, I have decided to return twelve-fold what God has given me. Unmask tonight's sacrifice!
The Amarrian closest to Vaden, his fighter captain and XO Ilias Obelar, lifts the man to his feet. Turning the sacrifice's body to the camera drone, he quickly rips the shroud off, revealing a beaten and terrified Math'ra Hiede.
Tonight, Math'ra, my revenge will be complete. One hour of suffering awaits you, at our hands.
Math'ra tries to speak, words not forming from his swollen lips. Before he can utter a coherent word, Vaden punches him across the jaw, shattering the bone.
Leaving the camera drone operable, Vaden and his cohorts begin a methodical torture and blood draining of the battered Khanid. Each man takes it in turn to collect dripping blood with the chalice and drink from it, each of them sharing the blood and reveling in the sacrifice. Math'ra's screams are muffled by occasional punches. He is kept conscious through booster shots, though they come more and more frequently as the hour drags on. Near the end, as Math'ra's time comes, Vaden retrieves a silver dagger from behind the stone, exsanguinating Math'ra as the bell tolls. He collects the last spray of blood into his cup and drinks deep from it as he lets the body fall to the floor with a dull thump. After drinking the entirety of the glass, he sets the glass down and directly faces the camera.
Let this be a warning to all that would dare oppose me. God is with me, not you. Your wealth, your security, your skill as a pilot will be for naught should you insult me the way this man did.
Walking back to the small congregation, he looks over his shoulder to add one more passing comment.
Sabikannen is ended. See you next year. Signature Locked. Please refrain from amending a moderated warning. Zymurgist |

You are a foolish, cruel, and hypocritical old man with no regard for decency or diplomacy. It is clear that you have lost the Way to the Lord long ago, and I will be glad when you are punished with the Eternal Fires.
I have to agree with the Brutor on this: consider this post a personal insult. Come and get me.

Make your atonement now while you can. I may be just 1 person but there many that see, hear and understand what you have done. [looking down at the datapad in his hand he pauses for a moment and reads the words on the screen]

What kind of sociopathic scumbag do you have to be to drink another person's blood, I mean..really.
Despite the fact that the victim and I are hardly on the best of terms..I still feel that this is sick, disgusting and wrong on so very many different levels.
You and your Blood Raider kin are the worst kind of sadistic murderers that this cluster has to offer.

This is...well, perhaps I should not call it disgusting.
Although I suspect that Math'ra is not dead, at least not Math'ra as we know him, if such is the case, then Vaden proves himself a threat to us all. I liked the man, though I don't care for the Ordo one way or another.
Killing other capsuleers, permanently, is a trend, a practice, we must avoid. It is enough that humans might try it. To prey on each other, in such a permanent fashion, is the spark that might ignite our own extinction by our own hands.
Math'ra, I do hope you yet persist.

Vaden Khale.
I stated this once before and I shall state it again, this time for the entirety of the IGS to hear.
YOU are a filthy Blood-Raider and this... stunt... has merely proven this fact to me, and now to the cluster.
To clarify for those of you may not understand what has transpired here, Mr. Khale obtained a corpse of mine many months ago now and made a chalice from it by using my head. This was his small vengance for my CORRECT accusation of his affiliation with the heretical Blood Raider cult. It now seems that he managed to procure a clone and force a persons mind into it for the purposes of this disgusting ritual. So, in a twisted irony Vaden HAS infact killed me, and yet I am still alive.
I hope your pleased Vaden, this stunt achieved you nothing - you have not truly harmed me, you have pronounced yourself to the cluster as the very thing you screamed to me that you where not, and now you will have to LIVE with it.
Enjoy your "victory" or whatever your twisted mind deems this. ------------------------------------------------

Because I am not disturbed by what Mr. Khale has done? Well, I cannot say that I find it "tasteful", but I can hardly call it "wrong". Arrogant, yes. Foolish, yes. Even unintelligent. But he has done "you" no lasting harm. The information that comprises you still exists.
If he stuffed a copy of it into another receptacle, then it was only a...offshoot, no longer you, for it is different. That Math'ra Hiede is not you.
So, you exist still, and I am glad. Is this such a conundrum?

Basically this barbaric ritual is nothing special for Amarrians. If you had seen the cruelty which was going on when Lantorn fell or Siseide. The slavery commandos that where lining up the civilians and chose who was able to work and get deported and who should die on the spot.
Why is Minmatar fighting fiercely against the Amarr invasion, you might ask? Look at this. Blood draining, torture, inhumanity, religious wane. This is literally what they are trying to do to all of us. As long as the slavery is going on and this spirit is alive there will be a Matar with a Kri'tak at his throat to end it.
Amarr militia! This is what you are fighting for. This is in the end the result of your Reclaiming. No honor, no blessing, just level the path for madman like this. It's just that nomal people don't see the true nature of Amarr. The chance to watch it without cover is rare enough. Fill yourself with rage, warriors and act. That's all I say.
Face the truth, Tribals. Not one. Not one Amarr here. Not one Amarr of the Amarr militia has started to act against this. No wardeclarations of loyalists against this man. No veto. They just keep silent because in their heart they know: this is what we are fighting for. It's just not good that this man puts it in public.
Before I accept any denying of this accusation of mine I'd better see some action in their own ranks. But we won't see it, fellow Tribals. We will never see this happen. If we want to stop this **** we have to go there ourself and do it. -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

This is an almost every day occurance in and around Delve. To go to war because of one man and his crew is hardly the efficent thing to do when there are Tribals knocking on their door. The first poster to this.. Video.. is an Amarr Empire Loyalist, I believe, and he didn't seem to support it much.
Having been Blooded recently I must say I have a certain sympathy for Mr Hiede. Though from what I read he seems mostly unharmed from the experience, so it passes quickly.

Miss Wildfire, have you ever heard of a group called the Sani Sabik? If not, then you MUST at least have heard of the bloodraiders. I suggest you research them, and the stance of the Amarr Empire and itĘs loyalists against them. After that you should re-read your own post. Please report your findings after you did. An apolagy might be in place as well.

Edited by: Alica Wildfire on 25/09/2009 09:18:34 Yeah, Blood Raider, Amarr, whatever. The one suck the blood more visible, the other more subtile. Sometimes those who are most equal fight the hardest against each other. I don't think that I have to ask for forgiveness for this as long as Matar people suffer legaly under the whip.
And I can't declare any war for I'm not in the position to do such things, besides the base of operation is far away from mine, I really checked if I can do anything or I can bring people in my domain to act against this. But I see in those bloodraiders more a PR problem of Amarr than anything and this is a good thing to happen. Let the Amarr try to deal with them. Maybe they fight their Blood Raiders this hard because they try to keep the bad PR under cover. Maybe they... ah... I don't understand religious fanatics to well anyway, I act on what they actually do not what they claim to do or believe what is right or wrong. Mainly both following some scriptures, they just interpret it different.
For me as an outsider the one religious wane is not better than the other as long as Matar suffer from the effects of the "Reclaiming" in Heimatar and Metropolis. And that is directly on my frontdoor.
At the moment I'm recovering from a year non stop war for some days and that is well deserved. The next fight is already dawning but the Blood Raiders have to put themself at the end of a long line, sorry. First Amarr has to fall then the Blood Raiders are an issue. When that is done and the Matar slaves are freed I might look after them. As long as this it's a foe of my arch enemy. That does not make it a friend but it makes them someone that draws attention away and devides the forces of the enemy.
So actually Matar profits from the Blood Raiders. And I think I will friggin not go and help the Amarr to deal with their own problem. It's housemade, it's internal. And many Amarr acutally sympathize with them. -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

You make the assumption that the bloodraiders are exclusively an Amarrian concern, and that the Matari somehow ęprofitĘ from them. The fact is that they draw their number from all races, and the Minmatar are no exception. Would you prefer hanging impaled on a metal hook in a bleeder farm over wearing a slaveĘs shackles? Perhaps one day you will find out. Underestimate and ignore the threat they pose at your own peril.

Edited by: Alica Wildfire on 25/09/2009 10:05:01 Actually I don't know what the big fuss is about the Blood Raiders anyway besides their bad taste and their religious wane. I went to one of my tier four agents asking to get actually payed for doing something against Blood Raiders and she told me to get some cargo from a warehouse or what. I jumped into my Reaper, put on a plain tech one afterburner and nothing else, went in there, got ambushed as suspeced, burned my afterburner as hell, got that damn quafe ultra and went out on twenty percent structure.
Ah. The Reaper is a great vessel. So if anyone asks me again to act against Blood Raiders: I already did. I stole them ten qubic meters of quafe ultra. That'll hurt them a lot. I suspect they'll go and replace it with blood bags.
And I don't think you can do any tier four mission in a Rookie Frigate that you get for free in every station. The Reaper is it. Simple like that. Minmatar wins. -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

Legs and Wings, Wildfire-didi! Are the Raiders Amarr or not? If they're Amarr, are they enemies of yours or not? Is this bad PR or just an initiation? Could Amarrians just do what you did and have met your challenge?

Yes, this is my position. The Blood Raiders are religious zealots and are even worse than the Amarr, I think. But they have far less power. So as long as they mainly fight the Amarr, which they do for their main base of operation is in Amarr Empire and space that the Empire likes to control, they are welcome as a force that diffuses the power of our enemy.
I am fighting slavery in whatever name it is done and in whatever purpose.
This ritual here is disgusting. I don't say barbaric for we Minmatar are barbarians in a noble way. I will later explain why to be a barbarian is not like beeing an animal. It's a form of culture that we Minmatar bring to a very high level and the values of that culture I will later explain. So back to the Blood Raiders here. I have no information about this ritual and before we all cry havoc I just say: it could be an initiation ritual that is celebrated in consense. Just because it is disgusting it may be part of their culture.
If it is celebrated without consense it is a thing that I will fight - earlier or later. I don't think I have to explain the reasons why. The Blood Raiders are of Amarr origin. Their "religion" is of cause based on the same scriptures. Their whole culture is like the Amarrian, just... twisted. But they are no primary threat to Minmatar for their main vector of aggression is against the Amarr Empire.
And this is where I stand. I am an outsider of this Amarr-internal problem. I have no access to full information. I'll post my explanation about what it means beeing a barbarian with my next statement.
And Vaden Khale is at the moment located at Otou in Sinq Liason. That's far away from my base of operation. -- FREEDOM, PUNK & AUTOCANNONS

You are trying too hard. If it's a wardec you are seeking, you probably found the one wrong way to get it, because you're just being too obvious. These theatrics are so meaningless that few of the Ordo even bother to address you directly for them. And I'm just here to spit in your face and convey my contempt for you as a worthless being. You are no better and no worse than Zebadia Chan-- apparently you graduated from the same seminary or something.
Bullies who seek justification in vague turnings of phrases for their brutality because you feel so inadequate when you look at your own purposeless lives that you have to torture others to make yourself feel like a man and call yourself holy.
You imagine it makes you special, but it happens all over New Eden, people just call it different things and justify it in different ways. Grow up, get a life, do something meaningful rather than masturbating to your own power fantasies. You're the rebellious punk, the social iconoclast that hews to whatever seems to bring the most outrage from your target audience. You have grey hairs but the emotional development of an angst-ridden teenager, and all the respect that society gives to such a one.
