ok I have finally got myself a nice new pc and wanted the low down on what you all think...
I did do a post with suggestions of what I could do a while back, but I decide to stay pretty cheap and keep it simple and just go for a recommended package
here is the stats as per DXDiag:
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X3 710 Processor (3 CPUs), ~2.6GHz Memory: 6142MB RAM
Display Devices --------------- Card name: ATI Radeon HD 4850 Series Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc. Chip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x9442) DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz) Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9442&SUBSYS_E810174B&REV_00 Display Memory: 3827 MB Dedicated Memory: 1016 MB Shared Memory: 2811 MB
3 HDDs, 2x 350GB and a 700GB
Extras
- Razer Lycosa keyboard - 23'' wide screen tv (anyone know what res fo max quality?) - 2x dvd drives
That all I can remember off hand and will be costing me just ú600
rip into it guys :D

Pretty sure this depends entirely on the TV itself, google the name, find the specs for it.

If it displays in 720p/1080i then your max res should be 1366x768. If it displays in 1080p then 1920x1080 will be your max res. To find out for certain open the manual and look up the pc display specs in the index though tbh your card should be able to figure it out automatically and only display the resolutions you can use.
