It's not like they're gonna 'stealth release' something of this magnitude. You *will* know when it's out

right you are, DM! just a bit too eager to see Zond 3's work, i guess. i understand that CCP liked M Corp's promotional movie so much that Zond 3 was invited up to CCP's offices to have a go at creating the trailer for Shiva/Exodus. he had access to special camera tools, etc., and seeing as how his own little video done at his home was so exceptionally good, i'm eager as hell to see what he's done with all those wonderful dev toys at his command...
unfortunately, he could not pick the music, said it was the usual slow trance stuff... but the camera work and editing should be wonderful!

Excellent video, probably looked even better for the 20ft tall screen (projected people, projected!) and the immense sound system the naff old conference centre had.

Exodus is the official release name for the next expansion of EVE Online. Up until this weekend, we were using Shiva as the internal code name for it.
As for the trailer, we're looking at a couple options for making the trailer available. At the least, there will be a decent quality trailer available for download. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

As for the trailer, we're looking at a couple options for making the trailer available. At the least, there will be a decent quality trailer available for download. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Correct. Camera work was very nice, editing was sharp, atmopshere impressive, and the music was fitting.
I heard reports of people getting emotional over it, and that was quite understandable, too.

Yes the video was impressive. I hope Torfi looks more into releasing those parameters to us so we can try and do almost as good work (parameters which change camera behavious, more smoothness)

He let the use of Genesis go, but I think you'd better contact God about using Exodus. I'm pretty sure he has that trademarked.

He let the use of Genesis go, but I think you'd better contact God about using Exodus. I'm pretty sure he has that trademarked.
