To be honest I liked "Shiva" better. Had a nice ring to it. Exodus has biblical connotations but also the most improtant thing is that it implies that people are leaving the game. Its sort of like when SOE named their expansion pack "Shadows of Luclin" not thinking that it would be abbreviated as SOL.
I vote you guys stick with Shiva. Its much cooler sounding even.

I thought Shiva was the name for the expansion and Exodus was the new name for EVE to replace Genesis.

Shiva sounds good by itself but I don't think it works as well in a release name like EVE: Shiva, that's a name followed by another name and has an awkward feel to it. Exodus sounds good to me.
What was the name of the release version, btw? I started playing just after Castor was released.
More edit: Guess Hakera gave me the aswer to that question while I was editing.
