In the wake Hulkaggedon and all the carebears and AFKers crying, I ask this question. I am a solo pilot at heart, but I have worked with small gangs/fleets/ and so forth. Seeing how the PVP community is asking for more people to come out to null sec and join the fighting. Where is the best place for a solo pilot to hunt? I know gate camps are what they are and I know I will walk into my fair share of them. But is Null sec worth patrolling or it is just alliance fleets and gangs home turf?

I have been having great fun flying in Minnie/Amarr FW space recently. Tons of targets. That is not to say that you will get tons of 1v1's but if you are smart you can use positioning and plexes to aid you in splitting gangs. |

Not sure about dullsec, but its alive and well in low sec FW space. You will still get blobbed on occasion , but lots of traffic , providing lots of PvP. Just make sure you are comfortable fighting outnumbered as their are a ton of small gangs everywhere atm. Always people looking for arranged 1v1's as well

I just started actively going out and looking for 1v1s today in a simple Rifter. Not 20 minutes into looking, I got one. I lost, but it was still a lot of fun. Anyway, I'd say if you want a fight, go into a faction war plex that can fit your ship size and lower and wait inside. If your standings with the faction are good, the rats won't attack you and various members of the two warring militias, as well as pirates, will come in, often looking for a fight just as you are and many times it'll be a nice, fun 1 on 1.
Win or lose, it's just a game. Respect your enemies and your teammates. |
