She cried, I laughed. Hence the ex part. While I have no actual experience doing that, I can tell you that there are local anesthetic products of varying effectiveness like numbing sprays and creams. Just something to keep in mind the next time you find yourself in this situation. She would propably forgive your discretion, if you provide her with a way to remove most of the pain from the procedure.
