Those of you old enough remember it fondly, I'm sure.
And now it's back. Coming to the good folks in the US just two days after my birthday, on a cheery Nov 3 (the show, not me, hint, hint). The rest of you, I don't know.
All we know is that the motherships look even better than before, and that Morena Baccarin (and if you don't know who she is, you probably shouldn't be playing an internet spaceships game) is the head alien, yummy. So what will they do differently to distinguish this from the original? They can't just go with the reptilian mouse-eaters of the original, and they've done away with the Gestapo uniforms of the original. So, obviously, there's more of a corporate takeover side to it than a simple WWII stormtrooper, blitzkrieg, holocaust angle like the original (which worked very well at the time).
I'm excited about what's to come two days after my birthday *cough*. Anyone else want to chime in?

Just seen this trailer for it and this. Aside from the expected visual upgrade, change in location and making it more contemporary, it seems pretty much like the original. I'm just not sure if that is a good thing or bad.
I hope they will do something unexpected to make it more interesting though. The "aliens come to help, but have a secret agenda" has been done to death and the trailers don't reveal anything new.

Counting the days, been a long old road waiting for this to happen.
No news on a uk airdate, so ill be firing up the usenet asap nov 4th.
The invaders aside, V has allways been at the top of the list of great scfi.

Looks like another BSG and Christian sci-fi.
I'll probably give it a go, but FFS, can those buggers please stop putting Christianity and terrorism in every could be decent sci-fi prog.
