Vir Freeman

Greetings. I am Vir Freeman. I am a young untested pilot who wants in on the grand RP and PvP that goes on between the good people of Amarr and Minmatar.
I want to say a few things before I get my gameface on. I respect the players on both sides of the conflict and I want to thank the Amarrian roleplayers for taking on the role they have so that I can be a Freedom Fighter. A lot of IC hatred is thriwn around , so to make it absolutely sure that no matter what I say in Character I will hold you in great esteem. To show you this I will hold myself to the following rules.
I will not pod a fellow roleplayer. I will assume the the oppositions pilots is adept at getting away and that my attempts to do will fail. This is to show you that it is not personal. besides.. It's not about winning anyway so why should I seek to do as much damage as I can. Do TOO good a job and the fight will suffer. winning will in the end prove to be boring.
*If some highly abnormal situation will occur where the death of some opposing pilot is required, he will receive a message in good time beforehand to let him know of it, though I cannot conceive of a situation requiring death
I will not fire upon an Industrial class ship belonging to the enemy with the following exception. If it carries Slaves , Weapons or Ammunition/charges. Minerals , ore , trade goods will be free to leave. If it is my mission to stop such ships I will scan their cargo. and Such a ship will be free to leave if it decides to jettison the offensive cargo.
*This will not apply in events where the target may not fall into any of these categories
I don't ask for anything, this will simply be my own code of conduct so I know that I will walk the straight and narrow.
Splendid. Now I am leaning towards Freelance Unincorporated as they are more active on these forums and have been easier to talk to. But I am also considering Masuat'aa Matari.
Now, I am of course not sure if any of them will have me at all, but I will ask for the aid of the community in this. Especially the Amarr. Please let me know in this thread which of the two you most enjoy to play against. I can think of little that will prove more helpful then the praise of an enemy. Heck.. you Minmatar guys can feel free to throw a little praise to the Amarr corps of your choice too , just to let them know they do good. ( Not that I am going to join any of them )
Thanks guys. Damn , but I am looking forward to this

Consider this thread in all it's entirety as OOC. All your character knows from following the Informants link is that another brash youth is joining a freedom fighting group.
I am Abolishonist This is the name that Vir Freeman will fight under. It is his assumed Freedom Fighting persona , complete with his own papers. This is the character Vir will post with when he speaks as a member of the Freedom Fighters. This will protect his real identity and allow him to move in more circles and not throw a shadow over his more 'respectable' benefactors.
Vir is the Character you will fly with or Fight though. He will just refer to himself as Abolishonist.
Dizzy ? we'll see how it works. If it fails, I'll scrap the idea. For referance the alts will have an OOC tag leading to Vir, so you know at least OOC what is going on. this is not to confuse the players .. just characters
All of Virs Alts have cunning disguises. I have in the avatars made a little fun of it though. You will see both Abolishonist and Informant as simply Vir with sunglasses and in a different pose and lighting

(OOC)
Greetings. I am Informant.
I am the assumed identity of Vir when he wants to do something in the cover of darkness. Informant will aid the Freedom fight in more shady ways. Leaking information that will more often then not throw the oppositon off while still feeding them enough to keep them interested for example. (Don't worry though. I'll never go off on my own with this and leak stuff without approval. It's only for flavor and fun in the forums and perhaps he will actually see some use one day)
I will try to be the useful friend to everyone who can be useful to the cause
(OOC: This is one of Vir Freeman's alter egos) |

Well now it seems someone has chosen a dark path for their life. Turn away child, a terrorist organization is not one you truly wish to join. In the end only Amarr will last and you do not want to be one of our enemies. I offer you this once chance for pease stop seeking this now and turn away, or better yet come embrace the light of Amarr!

Interesting....part of our roleplay is to actually obtain Amarr corpses so I guess that rules us out.
Good luck, whatever choice to make. I'm sure we will be seeing each other around.
So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak. |
